Then the rear spider gears and a bearing decided to crap out. So it sat like this for a month a shop waiting to get fixed.
The guy kept dicking me around on when he was going to do the rear end work and then the prices went up right before he decided that he wanted to work on it. I decided it was time to get it the hell out of there.
I brought it to a friends shop. His shop works on European cars but he offered to help me out with the TJ. This was good because I would save a grip load of cash doing the work there.
I started ordering parts.
Rough Country 3.25" lift, 1" Motor Mount Lift, 1.25" Body Lift, and Rock Krawler Bomb proof trac bar.
Yukon 4.88 ring & pinions and install kits.
