jforse TJ build

Well I figured the cool thing to do was to put together a build thread. I sold my XJ and was jeepless for 5 months. Then I came across a 2000 TJ 4.0 NV3550 D30/D35.

Here are a few pics of my old XJ

Here is the Stock photo for my TJ

Then it got a Rokmen front bumper, a Viking top, a 2" budget boost with 31" tires, some homemade rocker guards and rear bumper/tire carrier.

Then the rear spider gears and a bearing decided to crap out. So it sat like this for a month a shop waiting to get fixed.

The guy kept dicking me around on when he was going to do the rear end work and then the prices went up right before he decided that he wanted to work on it. I decided it was time to get it the hell out of there.
I brought it to a friends shop. His shop works on European cars but he offered to help me out with the TJ. This was good because I would save a grip load of cash doing the work there.
I started ordering parts.
Rough Country 3.25" lift, 1" Motor Mount Lift, 1.25" Body Lift, and Rock Krawler Bomb proof trac bar.

Body lift was installed sometime here just don’t have any pictures of it. Very quick install.
ALL DONE! Lol ya right. It was nice to get in this thing again.

Then it was time to go wheeling at the Gilbert OHV park.

Previous owner used rattle can to re blacken flares. It looked like crap so I pulled them off and had a buddy spray them.

They turned out pretty good!

Now there is a leak in the radiator. The clutch and throw out bearing are shot, and the fuel damper on the fuel rail is leaking. I have a new clutch, radiator, and am waiting for a new fuel rail to fix the leak. I should be back in the garage working on it Tuesday.
