I believe there is a bit of a head gasket leak but didn't think that would be where it's going. But I'm probably wrong I can put it on some cardboard tomorrow since its raining off and on today. I don't have any smoke coming out so thats not it.

The serp belt isn't too bad. They simplified the tightener on the Tj versus the YJ. Basically loosen it and replace then tighten

My reserve tank had a crack along the seal where it was put together and it was leaking out of that and the line that goes into transmission

Well I am in Florida now so I will be supporting myself and doing all the work by myself. Anyone that is around Orlando/Kissimmee let me know! I'm gonna need some friends down here!! And people to give me pointers on the jeep.

Well my passenger side caliper has been sticking a little bit lately. Not completely but enough that when I stop, the wheel is hot and I can smell it. Before I take it somewhere to get fixed, are there any ideas to fix it?

I would just put a new caliper on it, think that is the easiest way to fix it. Someone else may chime in with another idea. I haven't priced calipers but I can't imagine they are that much.

Only problem is I am not allowed to work on anything in the apartment complex I live at. So I'll also have to find somewhere that I can work on it at. Which is why I need some friends down here with garages! haha

Headed over to the gulf coast today to pick up a no-drill header bar to finally use my free safari top. Also found a guy that wants my hardtop. He said he will give me $650 and his Bestop. Sounds like a good deal to me?
I'd keep the hardtop but I have nowhere to store it here and I'm discovering how fast Florida weather can change, so I don't wanna be caught without some sort of top

Well I discovered there is a 4 Wheel Parts about 15 miles away so I'm gonna be completely broke. Another guy called about my hard top today and offered $850 so he is gonna pick it up this afternoon. I went to 4WP store this morning and bought a Bestop Trektop NX on sale for $590+tax.

Now I'd really like to find a fab shop around me to do a little work on my rear control arm mounts so I'm not afraid to drive it. Anyone know any places in Florida that will do some frame work?

I'm up in Maine so I can't help with with a shop but I feel your pain. Mine has the same problem. My parts from auto rust are supposed to be here today and then she's going under the knife. Excited to drive her again. Been like 3 weeks

Nah man don't do that. I've had second thoughts a few times but every time I go without it for a while I miss it like crazy. I will never be without at least one. And just because no one is talking doesn't mean they aren't reading it.
