So I bought a decent tj or so I thought it had a120,000 miles 4.0 5speed d44 rear 35 front I think and full hard doors and hard top well I drove its couple days and it ground. Gears once it got warmed up so all new brass kit and a clutch went in $1400 later it drove real good.here it is the day I brought it home so I decided it needed several things new front bumper smittybilt winch also smittybilt then she got neoprene seat covers because vinyl REALY sucks at -40 the it needed new 31s duratracs and painted the stock rims black turned out real good image-1203387478.jpg image-604211796.jpg So since I had new tires I needed to go wheelin so I hooked up with the fairbanks off-road club and went image-2168161150.jpg image-2241369840.jpg image-4209260083.jpg Name: image-4209260083.jpg

Size: 470.2 KB image-1745649627.jpg Did great didn't get any pics of the rocks it was my first time in and my copilot was scared to death for some reason (something about my foot being lead) so I learned that day . A jeeps are super capable stock. B I need a lift C either need wheel spacers or to do the steering stops or both. D lift I need more clearance drug every where but I kept up with the big boys on 35+ tires just had to pick lines soooo as far as build plans looking to do a 2 inch procomp springs and shocks already extended the bumps stops. Then looking to do a tummy tuck and gas tank stuff idk which one yet opinions are welcome. I figure I'll have to sye at this point. I don't think I'll lock the front til I leave alaska since the winters are 7 months long most of which I stay in 4hi and I have limited slip in the rear.

So today I replaced the oil pump out of hope my oil pressure that was 8-9 psi at hot idle was due to the pump it was the stock pump had worn groves into the housing that was allowing the oil to loose pressure at temp but When I was putting it back together the stupid down pipe wouldn't seat so I have a horrible exhaust leak now

So I bought this jeep which the wife calls the heep in February since then I've already put 2600 in it and since I'll never see my investment returned with a reconstruct title well I might as well dump more money into it and have fun right? So here's what I'm thinkin pretty much in order any and all suggestions appreciated.
2 inch -2.5 springs and shocks lookin at procomp
1 inch body and mm lift any suggestions on brand? Something like the under cover fab high clearance skid and rokmen gas tank skid
Sye probably aas.
I'd like to run 35s as I really think that's the biggest I want I have a f9 inch and a front d44 out of a 70s f100 that came with my other project she only cost me $100 image-478723908.jpg I thought I'd 4wd convert her but she's already set up for the 1/8 mile once I get her runnin 400 c6 4.11 in a 9inch with positrak I'm gonna try to get the new carpet I the jeep winter is coming......-40 is cold

Note to self and all others reading this thread rustoleum undercoating does not stick to rust reformer spray paint so got to figure something to fix that also i left the carpet out to determine where the passenger side leak is coming from it's under the dash not the door seals got to find that fix thread. So in short my brilliant idea to use undercoating wasn't so brilliant and I have a leak to fix. Also I'm looking into bds's 2 inch kit instead of procomp for $50 more it seems the better of the two? Has anybody ran either one? Thoughts?
