Sucks to hear that. Every time I buy something Savvy, it arrives extremely late. The winch guard I purchased from them had the mounting holes misaligned and had to be notched to work with my Warn 9.5ti. I emailed them about it and never got a response.. Go figure

I'm telling you, Gerald really needs to get his act together. I'm sure there's more blame on his shoulders than he deserves, but as the sole face of Savvy CS, that's where the blame goes regardless of if every instance is his fault or not.
If I had an opportunity like that--to run a company like Savvy--I'd quit my job and take the first available flight out there tonight. And you bet your *** I'd be available to customers 24/7. Continuous improvement is a big part of what I do for a living so maybe I'm biased.

I think when someone starts to think they're "all that" they lose sight of what is important. I know I'm just one customer and won't make that big of a difference to them. I also know that Rokmen contacted me and asked if there was anything they can do for me, now that's customer service. I know where my next purchase will be made.

I know many of the parts they sell are shipped through Currie. But from an outsiders point of view that has no idea about what exactly is going on with the internals of the company, I'd say they are outgrowing themselves and need to set up a little larger operation. It just seems like they have a little too much volume for a few people to run.

I got an e mail from Gerald a few days ago saying that he had no Currectlync in stock? But his ship to price was way better than every where else. But then again if it never ships that is a mute point..

My steering really is crappy these days. The steering wheel doesn't want to return to center smoothly. When I turn to the driver side it's really sticky when it returns. When turning to the passenger side its only slightly sticky upon return. I've greased everything and checked the power steering fluid, and none of that changed a thing. I really didn't want to dig into it without having a new tie rod set up, but its getting so crappy I may just have too.

Hmmm, I was reading awhile back something about caster being a problem at times with the no return to center.

It sounds like the problem is mechanical and not caster-related, right? Something funky could be going on inside your steering box. I'm just not sure what you mean when you say 'sticky.'

Bleed the steering system and put fresh power steering fluid in.
There MIGHT be air in the system.
Caster might be the culprit but that's unlikely if nothing has come out of adjustment with your control arms or if you still have the stockers.

When you release the wheel you can see it start and stop while it returns to center. One direction seems worse than the other. The bigger the turn, the more you can feel / see it. Jerky may be a better description.
