They (whoever "they" are) say there is a major ice storm coming for southern and central Illinois, and it is supposed to make it's way across Indiana and Ohio too, traveling north as it goes. Some of the projections I've seen show it crossing over near Attica as it travels northward in a west to east trajectory. But "they" aren't always right, so I'll wait and see.

It's cloudy and freezing *** cold here. Like it or not I have to deal with it for a few more years.

Eh, we'll be fine. What is your location if I may ask? I've got about a 3 hour drive tonight - bunking with some buddies in Attica.

Looks like it'll be cold, but sunny, no ice storm....so it's all good.

I'm coming down from Rochelle, it takes a good 3-3.5 hours to get there. I'll probably be on the road between 5am and 6am...so long as I don't over sleep.

Man, that makes for a long day. I am trying to make this a yearly thing for my son and I. Last year he was 4 and we did the power trip thing. I think he passed out for a while shortly after lunch.

I dread the drive....but as long as the roads are clear it should be good.

We're supposed to get 2-4" of snow tonight with a jeep run planned for tomorrow to cut Xmas trees at our local National Forest! I'm excited cause we don't get a lot of snow up these parts. Drive safe and have fun Jeff!

You too, enjoy your snow. Sounds like The Badlands Offroad Park is snow free....thus far.

Now to get a couple of toys and load my Jeep. I just hope I can close the rear window once I'm done, because it's really cold.

Well I picked up two toys, one for a boy and one for a girl. I got the Jeep loaded and ready to go. While making my run to get the toys for tomorrow I heard a squeak, squeak, squeak, which sounded like it was coming from the driver side front, and it would go away when I turned slightly. I got home and greased the driver side axle joint, so hopefully that's all it was/is.

I did, but I'm now in search of a driver side front axle shaft...inner and outer. More on that later.

It is Christmas time...plus I haven't gotten anything for my birthday yet.

So which chromos are best these days?

Kevin says Ten Factory.
