Thanks, as I start to build the Rubi, I'll start missing the YJ a little less.

What size is that in non metric?

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

I'm hoping.

To put a visual on the things I've ordered thus far:

Now......where's that brown truck?

You're almost assuredly going to need to cut down the threaded portions of the little heim ends on the links to make them small enough. Even so, they might not be short enough. Currie also makes shorter swaybar link center sections just for that purpose. I was right on the edge at 3", so I'm guessing you're gonna need them.

Looks like a really nice Jeep you have there. I can't wait to see the stuff starting to go on. I love that you are taking what you learned in the past and running with it and buying quality stuff. You will have to cut down the links for the AR. Ask imped if you have questions about that.

I have to ask, why the OME HD over the regular rate springs? Those tires should be really nice. My regular MT/Rs were not that loud until my family negleted to rotate them like I said to while I am here at college. I was home last weekend and they got louder than they used to be (about 5k after they should have been rotated). I hear nothing but good things about the Kevlars, and they are supposed to be better in every single category.

I've been wondering about that, but I decided if I have to get shorter links, I will. But I sure do like the thought of not having to get out and diconnect.

After having the YJ for the last 4 years I decided to build the Rubi based on how I've used the YJ.

I went with the HD because I'm planning on a winch and bumper/stinger up front, and I have a hard top. From everything I read the HD will help reduce sag due to the weight of those, and still provide a good ride.

The MT/R's I have are loud as hell, especially compared to the TrXus MT's I had on the YJ. Finding TrXus tires is a pain, since they had those manufacturing issues, and I really liked what I saw the Kevlars doing last time out wheeling.

My lift is supposed to be here today and my antirock is scheduled for delivery on Monday. My tires are getting mounted Monday as well. Hopefully the Rubi will see some major change next week.

looking good Jeffro - this rig will be perfect for you - I think all of us guys that have our rigs on 35s plus are a little jealous of the simplicity (yet capability) of your rubi

now we just gotta talk you into following us

Will you be doing a BL and MML as well? Savvy underarmor?? Better jump on those Rokmen arms while they have free shipping. You know youll want 35's 6 months from now.

No BL, MML or under armor just yet. For the wheeling I do 35's aren't needed, and until I can justify the regear I'll be happy with the 32s. If I end up needing control arms the Rokmens are what I was looking at.
