The weather is not what it needs to be for me to work outside today, so no more progress has been or will be made on the corners until next weekend, at the earliest.

I've decided to fit them to the jeep then, if need be (aka: I scratch them), I'll give them another coat of paint. I'll be on call for the next two weekends, so if the weather is nice I'll have plenty of time (as long as I don't get called into work) to work on the install.

Last night I finally made it to the end of reading this entire thread. You have put together a very good trail vehicle Jeffro. I like what you are doing.

Looks like sunny days this weekend which will be good for working on your Jeep getting the trail corners on.

Thanks.....It'd be nice to find the time to do the corners, they just keep sitting there, taunting me.

The only chance of rain here is for tomorrow morning. It is supposed to be decent afterwards. Are you guys getting more rain than up here? I would have guessed you'd have some decent weather to work outside.

Not really....it's just cold, too cold to remove the top, so until it warms up there will be no corner install.

I'll wait until it's warm and sunny, that way I can catch a few rays at the same time.

Boooo

It's alright, I'm procrastinating on my corner install as well.

I'm not procrastinating.....I'm waiting for warm weather. It's freaking cold out. If I had a big old warm garage I'd be all over it, especially since I'm on call at work and can't really go anywhere.

Sure, why not....

They aren't perfect....but once I do the install, I'll take them off and give them a final coat of paint. I may even sand them a bit before hitting them with the final coat.

The paint looks great! What rattle did you go with (sorry if you already covered this)? And you will definitely need to touch those up after placing them and taking them on and off to get the holes drilled.
