That's comforting....

It's nothing real bad, but I don't like my Jeep marking it's territory. I'm just about to hit 58,000 miles which will mean an oil change and tire rotation, and now it may mean a new tranny filter as well.

Mine was leaky earlier this winter. Threw on a new pan (mine was a bit dented), filter and used a lubelocker gasket. Took no time at all and no leaks since.

I know, but its too cold to work on it, so it frustrates the crap out of me. Not to mention (but I will) the more I have to spend on repairs this summer the more chance there is that I won't be able to go to Colorado in August.

I may sound crazy here, but if my jeep never had any problems I might get board .

It sucks but your issues sound minor and (at least for me) it wouldn't hinder me from enjoying the jeep.

Enjoying the build BTW.

I can't remember the last time I went wheeling....if I were wheeling it regularly I probably wouldn't even care about the "issues" I'm having with it.

It seems everyone is going wheeling this Saturday, but I can't, because of work....

It sucks when life gets in the way of wheeling! I hear your frustration, but hang in there! Have you had a chance to get it scanned yet? If it turns up being a evap code, I have a few places for you to look.

I was able to borrow a OBD2 code reader today, it was just a small emissions evap leak....I'm hoping it was just the gas cap. I hadn't filled it or anything, but I did leave the Jeep sitting outside overnight for the first time in about 6 months, so maybe it experienced some shrinkage, due to the cold. We'll see if the code comes back or not.

Gotta hate shrinkage from the cold...can be embarrassing.

Check the fitting on the intake manifold. It's a 90 rubber plug. This is what shape mine was in when I threw an evap code.
