Anyone interested in my dash that is on my jeep?

The EE (Electrical Engineer) in me is thinking about doing something that most people HATE.........

I want to add CAN-BUS controls. I really want to change out the 6 main gauges for a 7" display. I would also like to swap the switches out for some CAN keypads, and the relays would be some cooper bussman mVec's. I want some B1tchen controls to show off what I can do, in case I start looking for another job out west

I want to add this stuff to my jeep with. Its like adding my own ECU.
Sorry I forgot I need pictures to explain it to most of you guys

Its going to cost me about $1500 to do this, so I am going to need to sell my old dash to make it possible to do. Willing to deal if some one wants a completely wired dash. I have over $1200 in the dash I have now.

YUP!!

I wanted to do something like that when I built the jeep but it cost to much. Now that I can get some discounts on parts, and the knowledge to CAN program. I really want to do this project.
I really want to have cool looking screens. Like one of the jeep drive train and shows if the axles are locked. If its in 4 wheel. Stuff like that.

Also want to tie logic into some controls, just because I can and it would be awesome.

I'm all over your plans. I think your jeep has the most pimped parts and gadgets and you still manage to beat the **** out of it on the trail. This will simply be badass

Sad part is I already have the main display page done for that display. I got bored at work the other day during my lunch. Wish my phone would work, I would post a photo of my desk at work. I have 6 of those displays form different companies just chillin here.
