Any news on the new place with the garage?

Not really. He asked me to make it and I was going to do it after browns chassis, but Brown is in SC so I had a free weekend for once and wanted to get this out of the way.

Nothing on the garage front. wasnt what I expected. Found a shop in by work in farm country. Just waiting till the end of feb to see if the current renters are going to rent again.

Do you have pictures of your engine install? I am looking to see how your exhaust is routed really. I am planning my 4bt build now.

Only 2 things are preventing me from going pro.... Luck and Skill

I didnt care about passenger foot room. and I wanted to clear my upper control arm. That is why it comes into the cab so much. If I wanted more room I could have spent some more time on it and add some more bends to have it wrap around the turbo and then head backwards, but was unneeded in my eyes for what i built my jeep for. I had 7 bends just to clear the rear links that was enough for me.

Also A couple key things most people that dont know anything about the 4bts dont know is that they are one tall engine. My engine to hood is only about an 1" or less. It up there that way I dont drag my oil pan on rocks. And For weight distribution I pushed the engine as far back into the tub as possible did alot of clearance on the tub.

Thanks. I have my 4bt. It is a close fit.

I need about a 90 degree downturn on my exhaust as you can see from your pictures. I just dont want to pay $450 for one from Jeff Daniels. I was hoping for another answer.

I bought a turbo flange from tndieselpower. It was made for a 4" down pipe. I had my local custom exhaust guy expand a 3" tube to 4" just at the end of a tube and then welded it up. Worked like a charm.

http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/showth...-turbo-flanges

His online store is down right now so you would have to call him or PM him at that forum. I bought the pocket style. #2

*NOTE: Im running an HE341 turbo not the one that came on the 4bt.

Bored on a Saturday night. I had this idea in my head so I drew it up. One day when I get a shop I will build it.
Just a rough sketch.
