Reason: too many beers
My 30 is the factory LP. I wish I would have put a HP in when I did the gears, but oh well.
Yukon Chromo Shafts
I've replaced the unit bearings once on it
In the next few weeks I will be redoing the steering with teh JCR over the knuckle kit and building a custom track bar for it.
Going to be replacing the PS pump and putting a genright pulley on (old pulley broke when I tried to pull it off, and I decided it was probably a good time to replace the pump since it's apart and also, at times it would whine after long hot day of wheeling.)
PSC steering box
Knuckle over steering
Rebuilding the front track bar mount
rebuilding the front track bar
2 weld on bead locks
different front bumper
I have a week before I leave for Harlan so I have a lot to finish up.
There is a good chance I will be there. I will probably be there with or without the jeep. I haven't been to much KI stuff lately. I was going to go last night, but I spent the night in the garage. I've also been very busy with school and work as well.
So far this evening, from 1140pm to 1255am
PS pump is on
Genright PS pulley is on
PS filter is on
Also leak checked my welds on my wheels... Let's say I have some patching to do tomorrow.
About to go replace the subwoofer in the center console.
Tomorrow morning I'm going to the junk yard to get a couple things to finish up the install. Also I plan on cutting down my RE track bar to raise it up to work with my knuckle over steering. I hope the bends in it won't come into contact with anything. If so, I'm going to cut the tube off and go buy some strait DOM and re use the ends since i'm on a time crunch.
last night/ yesterday/early this morning
got one lower ball joint in, it took about 3 hours each to get them out and it's a lot of work getting them in. They have already broken one ball joint press.
installed the lockright in the front end and torqued the ring gear down.
mounted one of my weld on bead locks.
modify track bar
modify track bar bracket upper
weld lower bracket on
install the knuclkes
attach steering linkage
attach winch, bumper, and steering box skid
fab lower sway bar mounts
and a lot more.
I've been a little busy for photos and I can't seem to find my camera.
Yesterday I got the knuckles on, front diff assembled, lower track bar welded on, modified the upper track bar mount (still need to weld it in), rebuilt the RE joint (need to cut the track bar down), and a whole lot of other stuff.
