25 days - are they made to order or something?? Looks cool. Just curious, do you have to shave a little bit off from the ring gear for those parts to fit after you modify the diff housing?
Any luck with all the stuck bolts?
Also, do you think you'll be driving this on the road much after the 39.5" tires are installed?
I haven't worked on the jeep or the axles for a few weeks. I need to buy a torch kit and I haven't had time to get one because of School.
The ring gear needs to be shaved to ~10". I plan on buying a pre shaved gear from ECGS.
Their products are usually on backorder. I don't think they can keep up with volume of orders because of their vast product spread. These are just my opinions. In the past is took me over 2 weeks to get simple brackets or tube inserts. Basically, if I ever order anything from them I plan on not needing it in any hurry.
As for driving on the street, Currently the jeep is basically a trailer queen. It sits in the garage until I want to go wheeling. Mainly because I don't want to run my trail tires on the street and i haven't had time to figure out my steering issue.
I will be starting my new job at Cummins as an Engineer in January. We plan to Move to Greenwood, south of indy, which would be a 30 mile commute for me one way.
Long story short, I want to be able to drive it on the street around town, to grocery, dinner etc. I plan to eventually find some 37"+ street tires.
