Jeepen jimmy's xj build

Well i finaly decided to make a build thread. i started to mod my jeep after a lady ran me off the road and i hit a sign and got stuck in the snow. Plans for my jeep is to build a dependable overland cherokee. Here's some info on my jeep.

1: 1998 Jeep cherokee 2 door 5 speed
2: ax-15
3: dana 30 hp front 8 1/4 rear 3.07 gears
4: 305,000 miles im the second owner
5: 4.0

the day the lady ran me off the road. the jeep had no damage before this, the road sign dented up the right side bad

took 3rd place at the all chrysler show. i drove the jeep up to the show with a broken rear, the ring gear bolts backed out of the carrior and took a chunk out of the pinion.

not to bad of flex for basterd pack leaf springs.

my buddie Jamison and i got a shop together, and i finished up my turbo mopar project so il be putting some time into my jeep. doing a 8.8 swap 4.10 gears, more lift and cutting out the rockers for rock sliders and unibody frame stiffners!!!! ohhh and a locker for the hp 30

this saturday il be putting the jeep on jack stands and pulling out 8.25 and starting the 8.8 swap and 4.10's for the dana 30 il post pics

something i didnt realy think about, i put in a new set of 4 1/2 left springs with 2 inch drop shackels so i new my lift would be around 6 1/2 but the spring pearches added anthor inch or so, it sits huge!!!!!

should be able to finish up my 8.8 this thursday, then il start on the 4.10 gear install and my locker in the dana 30!!!
