looks pretty sweet man, I can not wait to get mine back on the road, and start making some good power out of it.

Great looking Jeep. Welcome to the club.. its a great feeling to have that Cummins under the hood. I have 4.10 gears and 33's. The interstate is not all that great. I think 37 as mentioned before would be better.

35s 3:55s and a nv 4500 are perfect for the interstate. It crusies with little or no turbo at 75 to 8o and will pull strong on up past 100mph, But that's where my nutt sack stopped me.

Sooo glad to hear that, that is the exact gearing/tire size I decided on. 4.10s on 30" tires is horrible on the highway But I MIGHT go for 37s....I kind of want to hit 120.... my last jeep did 110...

Hey Salt-

I was reading through a 4BT Swap post and I saw that you were from Hampton, NH. I live in Saco, Me. 3 miles for Old Orhard Beach. I am thinking of doing a 4BT Swap in my81 CJ7 and I was wondering if you had finished your swap and had any pointers?

Great Build, I just finished my 4bt swap in a 95 yj back in january and love it. Did you put any type of skid plate under the engine I need to put one on mine and was wondering. I only have 4 inch suspension and 2 inch body.
