JEEP YEA LJ build

This is my new Jeep. I sold my sons 1997 tj and bought 2004 LJ. This will be my sons jeep for his senior year and then my jeep when he goes to college. It will be a daily driver and weekend warrior. We will make annual trips to Moab (900 miles) and to Colorado. We expect to drive there wheel and drive back. I have been a jeep forum member for 2 years this is my first post. I have spent a lot of time reading and learning and I am trying to give a little back. I am going to try and do it right the first time but there will be some give and take with what my son wants and or budget. So phase 1 is to lift and get clearance. Keep it low but not LOCG and light as possible. This is what I have coming:
Metal Cloak Aluminum OverlineFenders
Savvy LJ Rockers
Savvy Under Armor
Aluminum Savvy Gas Tank Skid
Savvy/Currie 3" Lift
I am also going to all led lights and a few other mods along the way. My intenision is to post pics and the links I used to for the mod.

So here are my first mods. First is rear licence plate bend with light bolts. In Texas you must hace one license plate light. The light bolts are not that bright I used 2. I know that the wires are thin but I manager to hook them up with disconectes and I passed state inspection. I think they are good enough. We will see if the police do so far no problems. Here are pic to show before after and how bright.

Welcome and nicely done Sir! The Wife wanted that color of green but all I could find was silver.

She will just have to live with it!

My list mirrors yours almost to a T.... Remember, great men think alike.

Yes we are building it around our work and school schedule. We have a to do list then 1 or both of us work on it when we have time. We are trying to go to Moab June 7 when he gets out of school. I painted the cloaks because I did not spend all of my time looking for an ELG LJ just to turn it black. Hopefully it will turn out ok I rattle can it.

The paint matched sprays look pretty good , but I bet a body shop would paint them for a reasonable amount as they dont have to mask off the vehicle. Theres a bunch of us that will be in Moab around the 7th , hope to see you there .
