very nice. thats a great looking liberty. i'd love to wheel with it. theres a shop kind of close here that does SAS and lifts using Nth degree for KJ's.. they've built some nice rigs. All J Products in big bear, ca. this is definitely my favorite liberty by far. nice!

Yeah, John and Wally were 2 of the guys I got infor from on how they did their SAS KJs. One is blue, the other is camo. They did Seth's too I think, who had a green one. He works for ARB. Those Nth kits are way nice, but cost way too much. I did my kit for like 1/3 of what they did theirs too.

It is getting there. I don't know I'll ever do full widths. If I ever do upgrade the axles they will be to Dynatrac Trail Series front 44, and a Trail Series 60 out back. Tons of $$$$, but I figure if I am going to swap, might as well make a big improvement. Since I'd be buying a locker, alloy shafts, gears, etc for a new axle anyway, might as well get it from Dynatrac already built.

Did you have to chop your unibody up front? What is your wheelbase anyway? I need to go ahead and chop that extra unibody that hangs below the fenders and to the sides of the bumper up front.

How are you limiting it? I am going to chop mine but not sure when, so I'll need to limit it at first.

Took few extra shots the other day, nothing fancy, just parts shots (sorry crappy pics).

The rear half of the frame stiffeners, the front half is already welded in and then the two halves will be welded together.

The lower coilover mounts.

Unibody side of the front lower control arm mounts.

really hard to tell in this pic but yo can see on the right at least, where there are gussets that go up the side of the unibody and are welded in. super beefy.

Getting there...

I also picked up the new springs for the coilovers today, swapped them right out. Have them back on tomorrow.

This build makes me want a Liberty. What grill and hood is that? Doesn't look like the normal KJ front end.

It is the 2005 Renegade model so it came with a normal shaped grill, and a flat hood. Much better looking in my opinion.

A couple more updates...

beefed up the rear axle truss

and painted

dang sexy.
