Will you be running without a track bar in the rear?

The 864 rear springs were $75 use from JJ. I still need to get you that measurement. What did you want me to measure? Hub center to bottom fender?
Yeah, just the 4 link rear. Radius arm front with track bar. |

Depending on how these ride, I may go to the OME 863s. Same size spring, but a lighter duty spring rate. Not sure the exact pound difference though.

Nothing really new to report, but I did get my new winch last night. It is stinkin nice. Not sure if I will wait until the jeep is done to install it. I might see if it is cool with Chris if I head to his shop and install it while he and his guy work on the rest of the jeep...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The brackets you see in this pic will be welded to the unibody frame of the jeep. The crossmember will bolt in directly over this plate. You may notice that the front long arm mounts are actually backwards, as they face the same direction as the rear bracket mounts, rather than cut the crossmember to get them to fit facing the traditional way, Chris and I decided to flip them and weld them in that way. They won't be skidded like the rear will but I decided I'd rather lose that option than cut into the crossmember and have a massive piece of steel I'd have to remove in order to work on the t-case. This way the plate and long arm mounts are more solid too than if they bolted up like they would have. Should be done this week/weekend. |

The 250 and 350 coils are too soft, that little experiment is over and I am going with the 450 and 550 springs. The unibody up front in the fender wells, needs to be trimmed. The wheel spacers are not on in these shots by the way. The support between the rear mount brackets and the cross member still needs to be made, the rear gears, the track bar bracket, the steering box and the custom skid all need to be done still.
