A buddy is going to customize it, adding a swing out tire carrier.

I had neoprene covers in my YJ....which was better than the vinyl for sure. Color/logo's is a personal choice, get what you like.
thats a nice clean and practical bumper at a nice price!

Anything cosmetic is up to what you want such as the seat covers. Do what you think looks good!
Does you buddy have a rear tire carrier? I do and my fear with the LoD one (which I am liking the most so far) will hit. My current one is a tube style bumper that has separation in that area for the bottom curve of the spare tire to clear it. I'm not sure how to go about getting a bumper that won't hit it and not having to replace my entire tire swing and bumper.

You can always order a relocation bracket to raise the spare up a bit.

I read your forum and saw where you were having it welded. I don't have a welding buddy and that seems like a headache. lol I really hate my tube bumper and m.u.s.t. replace soon.

The LoD will bolt on, and if your tire is going to rub you can get the relocation bracket to move the tire up, which is what I had to do when I stepped up another size.

I liked the idea of welding it, to increase strength...it worked on my YJ so I figured why not?

Sometimes you just don't know how things are going to workout until you try.

I put my hardtop up for sale and have a few people wanting to purchase it. Here is some background as to why. I run with it off A LOT. It takes 2 people to remove...of which my helper is not fond of doing at the wee hours of the morning...it takes up a lot of space, and limits me if I am out and decide...oh I'd like to have the windows off. I have never owned a soft top so I keep feeling like this is a horrible mistake that I am going to regret. I have my eye on the Bestop twill (30 oz fabric) which looks amazing and will be less noise, better insulation, etc. etc. I would love to own both but the main reason of considering the soft top is convenience. Am I thinking about this wrong and worried for nothing?

Worried for nothing. My hard top has been hanging in the garage for over a year, no desire to use it.

I've only had a soft top and not once wished I'd had a hard top. Sell it and be happy.

I don't even own a jeep anymore

Find a soft top cheap on CL. I found one in decent shape for $100, frame and all. I run the soft top during the summer, and the hardtop in the winter.

Bob's boring build:

I mean I am but I will be back in a couple months. If it's imperative you sell it right away then go for it but you would be doing me a priceless favor.

Don't hate me

[QUOTE=AmnSyd;19966921]I mean I am but I will be back in a couple months. If it's imperative you sell it right away then go for it but you would be doing me a priceless favor.

It sold this afternoon It was not imperative, I just figured winter time would give me a better chance of which it did. I had a lot contact me for it. It sold much faster than I expected. So much so that I don't even have my softop yet. It will be garaged until it arrives. I'm sure you'll find a better deal...I'm a little pricey and don't negotiate well LOL
