Jeep Jamboree

Does anyone have any pictures of a Jeep Jamboree? My brother-in-law has one (1982) and I would really like to see some that might be in better condition.
Thanks!

there is not a vehicle called a "jamboree" to my knowledge.. a jeep jamboree is actually a gathering of jeep owners who then take their vehicles offroad in caravan fashion.. generally barbeques, camping, and much beer comsumption happens after the day's festivities..

Yeah, now come to think of it, there was a jeep jamboree edition, a CJ7 i think. I remember flipping through a jeep history book at barns and noble and seeing it. I dont remember the exact title.
Ill see if i can find it again and let you know.

Thanks Bulletproofcj7. I should look at at book or something. I wanted to see what people have done with theirs to modify and restore them, that is why I posted this. I will have to look for the book next time I am at the bookstore. Thanks for your help.

I was reading about it just last night...

The Jeep Jamboree was a 1982 Special Edition CJ7 with a production run of 2500 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Jeep Jamboree, Georgetown.

Sequential numbered dash plate, Topaz metallic gold paint, Jamboree hood decal, chrome wheels and bumpers. 4.2l 5 speed manual, power brakes & steering. Heavy duty battery, charging system & cooling. Also whole bunch of extras inc winch, fire extinguisher, brush guards etc. some as dealer options.

Sounds like a neat Jeep for 20yrs ago.

(Credit to Mark Askew of Jeep world, England for this information)

I am familiar with the Levi CJ-5. There is one around where I live. It is pretty beat up. It is owned by a mechanic and it just sits behind his garage. Wish I could buy it and fix it up but it would be a lot of work. He wants $1800 for it but I don't think it is work it.
The manager and the Jeep dealer in GA where I bought my TJ used to have one back in the day. He really liked it.
Anyway...

I had two Levis edition cj7's. They also had a levis denim top and doors.
Both were automatics and had Quadratrac.
One had the 258 and the other had my 304 and frame that i have built now.
