Jeep 97 4cyl conversion to a Magnum v8 5.2 in Mexico

Hi everyone!

Im from mexico, im 19 yeras old, I'm studying mechanical engineering, my dad gave me this jeep when I turned 16 years, two monts ago i decided to swap my 4cyl for a V8, i love v8's.

So i went to tucson, arizona and bought a 5.2 magnum 2003 with less than 30,000 miles, it was the last year this engine was made i think. i also bought the t-case and the transmicion, but i didnt use the transimcion, it was to long, so i took one out of a Grand Waggoner its a 3 speed automatic.

On december 26 i started to strip off the old 4cyl... i ended the swap this saturday, I forgot my camera on my friend's car so i might upload more pictures next week y visit my city again, but for now, a little video of the jeep with the V8 (only have the link, dont know how to put the complete video here) http://youtu.be/qX4yoCsFzIohttp://youtu.be/qX4yoCsFzIo

So, i see my post didnt get any replys, here are some pics of how it sits now:

So, here is the list of some things i have done to my jeep

- 5.2 V8 swap... was a 4 cyl
- Dana 44 front and rear with 4.10
- Front tube fenders
- 33" KM2
- Rubicon Express Super Flex 3.5
- Led's Conversion
- Pro Comp Lights
- Smytibuilt winch 8,000lbs
- Front and rear bumper smytibuilt

I made the conversion of the V8 and Danas 44 myself, with the help of friends, im 19, so thats was a big challenge for me

Hii From Mexico!

Yeah, sometimes these threads have a hard time getting started, it has nothing to do with your jeep, its just the nature of it all.

But your swap is awesome and unique! Definitely looks like fun

I am also putting in a 5.2 and Dana 44's. See my build thread in my signature. My engine is really a 1970 318 with magnum heads, and a stroker kit which increases the size to 6.4L, or 390 cubic inches.
Did you get the Dana 44 axles out of the Wagoneer?
