Jeep 2013 Lift-cost, whats needed?

Hello everybody!!

First time poster right now.

I have a 2013 Wrangler sport with steelies now. I am anticipating on getting a 3" lift with 35's. This is my first jeep, but I'd say 80% of driving will be commuting.

I have a shop in town that offered to do 35's and a 3" lift for 3,000. Not sure if that's a good deal or not? I am not mechanically inclined, nor have the time.

I was told the 2013 recalibrates the speedometer and everything automatically without an additional chip or gearing with the 35's. I call bs, but then again, I don't know.

I plan on doing this in two months, but what else do I need to know prior to doing this?

Thanks for the future help and I look forward to be a part of this community!
