A tool called beer seems help getting a third hand in the garage . I look forward to a Synergy update .
Yea, usually works, but yesterday being Thanksgiving didn't help, and the few friends that would help had to work today, so no dice. And I wanted to get it done over these days.
But I did mangae to get the other side done and Currie steering on, just need to attach the steering stabilizer, maybe tomorrow, along with the brakes. Looking like no rain just a bit chilly, but I can handle that.
So far the ball joints/hubs have fixed the passenger tire that was leaning in at the top. One of the last times out I bashed the ZJ rod pretty bad and I think that blew the ball joints as well.
Damn I need a garage bad. Was planning on getting the sliders and diff covers on, plus a possible oil change, but looks like the weather is turning for the worst soon, so I don't feel like starting on all that and have to lug everything in before it starts to rain. Plus its effin' cold out there... Bummer. Not to mention I still will have to paint everything before final mounting, so it may be a while before I can get to these.
Thanks! These fenders are real nice, solid product and easy to construct. As for paint, I originally wanted to match, but I was in a rush so just went with black, but now I like them as is and they will be real easy to touch up. Maybe at some point once the weather is nice again, I'll give matching them another thought. I do have the paint, so we will see, but I will definitely be matching the half doors before they go back on to cut down on the black.
Had yesterday during the day off so I mounted, drilled and trimmed the A to Z sliders. Then brought them to work last night, painted them up and mounted them today after work. Can't wait to slide them on some rocks!
