Fall is by far my favorite season here. Comfortable weather and the colors are amazing.

Thanks! Not sure how big the place is that we went to in NH, but its huge. My local spot is around 90-100 acres give or take. And plenty of trails to be scoped out and cut!

Got another project in the works, hopefully doing this soon. Otherwise will be added to a couple other things I want to get done over the winter, such as the cage install.

Well its that time of year again....

Decided to button up the top now that its been in the 40/50's and take her in for a bath.

And I love how it looks like the wheels have a silver lip, but from the rock rash!

Yea I already don't like it... Still been cruising around without the uppers until now too, just crank the heat and wear a beanie.

As for the outboarding, that will prob happen in the next month or so, me and my buddy are working on his now and then will get to mine. I'd like to get the cage in soon as well, but that may get pushed a few months back. If I had a garage of my own this s#*t would already be done..

Hard top time for me, too. Probably this weekend.

When I buy some property I'll be building a barn with a lift. Bring some beer for the fridge and it'll be open to club guys whenever.

Yea, not ready yet for the cold... I just love cruisin around with no doors/top.

Eventually I'll have my own place to tinker, I have quite a few friend/places I can go really whenever, just want to be able to do it own my on time/pace and be able to just walk out the door into the garage... Ya know.

Picked this guy up the other day, super cheap. A bit of a dent running up thru the first 'e' but not bad enough for me to not want it. Its not a show Jeep anyway..

Otherwise its in great shape, unlike most of the ones I've seen around me. No rot, just a little surface rust where the hinges were and it came with the cables and hinges too, which most are missing around here.

I have been having a CJ tailgate, latches and everything needed sitting in the closet for over a year... I need some motivation.

I think so too! Love the look with the stamped JEEP logo.

Get to it! Not sure when I'll get around to mine either. Need to strip and paint it and now that its much colder round my parts I may just hold off til spring..

Its not that bad to install the CJ tailgate and looks awesome when its finished. The most difficult part to me was getting the reinforcements up into the rear channel without cutting a huge hole . For hardware I used Ford Explorer Sport Trac cables and bolts from the junkyard . The tailgate bolts from the sport trac required some trimming , but threaded right into the CJ tailgate . I did make spacers for the body side mounts , but it was also simple . And if your going to try and strip the tailgate , find someone who can blast it for you . I tried chemically stripping mine and it turned into a nightmare with all the edges on the tailgate.

Yea, I figured that getting the reinforcement pieces in the rear would be the hardest part, but I guess I'll find out once its go time.

As for the cables I got the stock CJ cables so I'll just use those... And from the few thread I've read on this mod, make it sound pretty easy, so not too worried, just waiting for either a warm garage to do this in or just wait til spring, unfortunately that may be the case.

I do know a couple sand blasters, so I may just go that route. Thanks for the tips tho!
