Yea, it was just too big with the Currie steering and the one in back would have made love to the GTS. Plus I still have the stock trackbar and when I decide to get an adjustable, there would be no way in hell it would work with that cover, but this'll be perfect.

Got out for a bit today. Hopefully some others will have some pics of me. But a got a couple posers of mine and some of the other rigs. One being a sweet Willy's, thing crawled everywhere.

Also so glad to get rid of the shovel, I woulda got hung up a lot as I scraped up the UA pretty good today.

Its cool to see the flatty out there with ya'll . How much and how hard did you hit the U/A ? I thought with your wheelbase it would be tough to hit it often .

Flatty was real cool. I was def impressed with how well he crawled everything.

As for the UA, I mean I did scrape it a bit, but not really big hits or anything. This place had more rocks that aren't as long so more prone to getting high centered. Did take a good few hits to the Savvy GTS tho. Its all good!

Decided it was time to paint match the half doors. Looks good in pictures and from like 20 ft away... But that is good enough for me.

Nice. I LOVE my half doors. They are so much better then going doorless. Did you use the Dupli color cleat coat too?

Oh I love the half doors, such a great arm rest too. And yea, Duplicolor clear. Def not going to be as shiny as the factory paint, but I just wanted them silver and not black, before I put them on for the summer. And I kinda rushed the prep work so I didn't expect perfect.

Hmm, bright silver metallic I think? I looked up in their book and grabbed the can. If I did a better prep job, it would look a bit better (less streaky), but the color is pretty damn close. Ima wet sand them and give a few more coats of clear.

I thought they looked good as black but silver looks good too. If I could suggest, the mesh on the highlines would look nice in color match silver.

I didn't mind them black back when they were last on, but now with the fenders, corners, sliders... I needed to balance the silver.

And yea, that was the plan for the mesh, just lazy. I was going to pull it a shoot it quick, but its kinda a pain to get at with the relocated washer bottle and the battery. Didn't feel like pulling those or masking the mesh off today, but it'll happen.

Some property Jonfund owns up in N. Central MA. I'm the delegate for my club, ent to the NEA meeting and got to do some wheeling afterwards, since Jonfund hosted the meeting.

Yea, love half doors, so glad to be rockin' them again.

After driving around with black half doors all week, you're making me debate even more getting them matched. My problem is, I'm actually considering $2-300 to have them professionally done, since my mediocre "20 foot away" paint job on the tubes irks me all the time.
