Yea, those were the roads we had to take to get to the trails! And then had about 1 foot of untouched snow on the trails!

Nah, snows fun, well every now a then, as I like to ski, but I do wish for warmer temps soon. Want to drop the top on the heep.

But for this run the snow turned the tame Class VI roads into something fun. And got to blast thru some snow banks to get on/out of a few! Need to check my GoPro for some footage of that.

On another note, now that I'm back from Cali, today I'll finally give Gerald a call and get my order in for the Auto Trans mount for the UA, rear upper adjustable control arms, and the Novak shifter. Plus I'll be picking up the Savvy GTS and rear driveshaft from Lu this weekend!

Hopefully soon I can get this UA installed along with the GTS and the Ballistic diff covers I've had sitting in my basement!

What do you think of the rampage top compared to your hard top?
How about full doors compared to half?

EDIT: Voted for you for TJOTM - Favorite build by far on here!!

Well I don't daily drive this rig, but I do a good amount of driving, good amount of highway to the trails...

I'm not sure I can really compare the two tops, as I only had the hard top on for maybe the first month of me having the Jeep. But I'm sure its much quieter on the highway.

With that said, on the highway its a bit loud to say the least, but I'm sure most soft tops are. Its keeps the snow/rain out so I'm happy.

As for full and half doors, the full doors are nice for the winter, more because I notice the soft upper, at least mine, don't seal that great with the soft top, so when it rains I sometimes find a puddle. And they are much louder on the highway. But they are absolutely awesome to cruise around with, especially the height they are to rest your arm on them...

But in the warmer months the full doors will be back in the basement til Nov. Although every now and then I contemplate on selling them, which may happen when I have a garage to store the Jeep in.

And thanks man!

Made a trip to CT yesterday and met up with Lu (AngryTJ), and took his Savvy GTS and CV driveshaft off of his hands.
