Just measured the flares.

Rear Smitty flares just about 3 1/8".
Rokmens are 4".
And sliders 3 1/4".

Well, I finally got around to selling my previous vehicle, so now that I have some expendable income, I'll be getting the heep regeared to 5.13's. Can't wait to feel the change, even tho unlike everyone else with the 42rle complains about it being such a dog, mine isn't completely unsatisfying with OD off, but it would be nice to be geared lower.

Also signed up for a welding class that starts in a week or so, 10 weeks every Mon 6-9. I'll be learning MIG, TIG and stick. Looking forward to picking up a new skill that I can put to use on the Jeep in the near future!

These are the ones I got. Super bright for how small they are.

http://www.amazon.com/Custom-Anodize.../dp/B007PBPI68

At some point I want to add some larger, maybe 2" white LED's in the rear crossmember, since it's got holes cutout in it, think it would look sick and add some more light/safety...

This is a very similar set up to what I am shooting for here soon. I was planning to run the Genright hi-line 4" rear flares though. Aluminum. Same Rokmen front fenders as you. And 35" rocker radials instead of MT-Ks. I have 2.5" OME springs and am wondering if I may lower the rig down a bit more and put my springs in the basement till bigger axles and 37s later on down the road. How do you like those 2" BDS springs? Got a good side on shot of your rig? How much clearance you got up front with those tires and fenders? Any bump stop at all? Longer than stock shocks? Thanks!!

Your Jeep is very slick! I like the flares. They work together well. On the Goodyears... I just got my 35's recently and I can't stand them on the road. I got the same shimmy with them you described AND one of them is shaped like an egg.

Oh well... live and learn. They do great offroad.

02-TJ 3spd Auto, Locked Up, 35"MTRs, and some other stuff that keeps me out of trouble...

I really need to get into my buddies garage and out of this snow crappy driveway and cycle the suspension and fine tune it. But for the minimal wheeling I've done on the 35's so far its been fine.

I'll get ya a good side shot later on.

I have no problems with the BDS springs, good ride so far. Also no extended bumpstops as they weren't needed with the 33's with stock fenders, but like I said, now I really need to do some playing/tuning the suspension to maximize what I have available and will prob end up changing it a good bit to benefit all I can.

I will definitely need to go with longer shocks and will raise the shock towers once I learn more welding.

Once I do that I'll be of better help... Just too damn cold to work on it right now without my own garage.

Oh one more thing I thought of...pics of your Die Hard with the Rokmen fenders. I have the same battery and want to see how you got it to fit. Thanks!

PS: A good side shot on page 7 I skipped over the other day.

Ok, cool. I meant to snap a pic but forgot before the Pats game... And then forgot all together.

As for the battery, it fits fine in the tray, just that the supplied alluminum tie down isn't big enough to span across the battery as it's meant for an Optima I believe. Right now I have a ratchet strap going around it to hold it down. It's a little janky, but gets the job done for now. I want to figure out something a bit more permanent eventually.

This is the stock battery, but I did the same thing with the Die Hard.
