Thanks, I went with Metalcloaks because they're full replacement flares meaning I can stuff larger tires under it and possibly even reduce my lift versus Xenons which although I like the look, are just another flare. Another thing to consider is that although the Jeep gets more dirty, flare-less in the mud, it's much easier to clean the side of the jeep than all the nooks and crannies of OEM flares. Lastly, I can always buy Metalcloak's quick attach flares if I want them.

Those are a delta turn signal kit listed on Quadratec but instead I bought these:

http://www.amazon.com/Clear-Amber-Marker-Trailer-Accent/dp/B003A08824/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1312581228&sr=1-1Which are clear when off but light up amber. They were also cheaper for 6.
I wanted the clear ones because I'm headed towards a "blacked out" look. If you have seen Recoil's LJ (which he has since sold) it was much of my inspiration.

Just unwrapped these 10 minutes ago

Just lining the up on the Jeep it looks like I may have to shave a notch into my rockers, or shave the edge off the corner guards so they match up properly.

Which craigslist ad? As far as I know this Jeeps never been on CL although scammers love to take people's Jeep pictures and try to scam people. I did buy it out of Orlando last year though.

I'll sell the flares any time but let it be known that they aren't in pristine condition. I cut the rears for clearance then notched the driver's side to accept my rockers and several of the screw holes have gotten "popped" from the tire hitting the flare. If you're seriously interested though PM me and we can work something out.

I'm not quite sure what you mean... with Metalcloak front fenders they're full replacements meaning no cutting involved. If you're talking about rear Metalcloak flares you still shouldn't have to trim anything. As far as cutting my rear pocket flares goes, it was super easy I just used a jig saw and eyeballed it.

I think he's talking about the mod cut version or the little piece you have to trim off the rear of the wheel opening.

Gotcha, in that case I'm honestly not sure if these Savvy corners require cutting any tub or not I haven't had the chance to line it up and look yet.

A box from Amazon came today with MT90 transmission fluid one of my LED turn signals (which is super bright) and some other miscolaneous things. You can also see a little aluminum bracket I bent that will be a low profile license plate light and some other parts...

Here's the look of a Jeep that is what I think of as "narrow" - no flares past the body

Yessss, classic TJ on the side panel. Canadian maybe?

Almost all the parts are here. Yesterday I took off the stock fenders which I sold and painted. Aluminum was clear coated and says shiny, for now at least. The steel of the Metalcoaks I spray bedlined, which looks and feels amazing. I went skydiving today, so no progress but I plan on installing as much as time permits tomorrow.

Brian, might be me, but I prefer the flares on the TJ

Also, did you video tape your jump? There is a jump school at the tamiami airport. $325 for certification.
