Insane times with a '98 TeeJay

Well, I figured I'd make a build thread not only so you guys could tag along with the build but so I can remember it as well.

I bought my wrangler this past May and have slowly been modding it since. Here are a couple of pictures of it when I got it.

The day I got it, had to see what it could do, lol.

I then removed the milk jugs and painted the headlight bezels.

Well, on one of my off roading trips in June, I got stuck in a swamp at about 2am.

Whilst chillin in the swamp, I had a little visit from a steel bar below the water.

So after working for about 2 hours we got the radiator out

I had it up and running and ready to go to work the next day by 11am

In august I decided I was tired of the faded tan interior so I picked up some satin krylon fusion and went to town on the interior.

As you can see, the paint didn't really come out that satin, more glossy to me. Also, the blue lights in the gauge cluster. One of my stock bulbs went out and I didn't have anything to replace it with so I grabbed a bag of blue LEDs and hooked em up. I'm thinking about changing them to green, orange, or red though. blue kinda looks ricer to me too much.

I've seen a lot of spray painted interiors that look horrible... but yours turned out awesome! Keep up the good work.

Looks good! Got anymore pics of the painted top? Also, when you painted your dash, what did you use to prep? and did you have a lot of paint smell in the interior for a while? I have been thinking abut painting mine for a while but I don't want my jeep to smell like spray paint forever.

Nice looking rig. I have same suspension set up as you but I still cant get my hands on any 33's. I like the look of your tires with that amount of lift. My 31's just look to small. Try searching on here about trimming your fender flares. I did it to my flares and it looks alot better and gives the appearance of more lift. I think your's could benefit from this too.

I don't have any more pics of the top as of yet. I will get some tomorrow though. The prep I did on the dash only consisted of cleaning it with dawn dish soap let it dry, then spray it with some Krylon Fusion. I bought Satin but it came out in a glossy finish. I still think it turned out nice. The smell maybe lasted for a couple days, a week at most.
