So the rear axle shifts from side to side when I hit the gas, or let off the gas... I poked around underneath and found this:

This is why the JKS control arm design is crap!

So I Emailed Gerald at Savvy and told him I needed some rear lower control arms, and he promptly replied to my email with advice, and this is what I ordered:

http://shop.savvyoffroad.com/product...5&categoryId=2

He cut me a really great price, and saved me a bundle on shipping as well!

Now all I have to do is wait till they come in and get them installed!

I'm thinking of experimenting with some duct tape just for fun between now and then just to see if enough wraps of tape around the arm can hold it together or not, lol!

Is that meant to rotate at that point to provide articulation? I think until I had something else I would weld that in place.

Yeah, the whole arm is designed to twist instead of the twist taking place at the end joints. I'm going to have them welded and I'll carry them as trail spares. I'm not in a hurry so it'll just sit until the new Savvy arms arrive. I still haven't registered it in my name yet.

Savvy control arms with Johnny Joints are beasts!

This is the second time I've purchased Savvy control arms, and I'm just as impressed this time as I was the last time!
I emailed Gerald at Savvy before I purchased just like he asks us to, and he told me what to do to get an awesome deal!
I priced out just the JJ's and the jam nuts, then the cost of tubing and threaded bungs, and even if I built my own arms I couldn't come anywhere near the deal that Savvy offers for double adjustable control arms with JJ's at both ends.

It is a nice truck, definitely unique, you won't even feel your trailer and Jeep behind it.

I think it needs some pink neon zigzag heartbeat lines and it would be straight out of the 90's, lol! Maybe a disco ball and lazers for the interior!

I already put it for sale on Craigslist, I'd keep it if it was the 7.3 turbo diesel, but I don't feel like feeding a 460 gas, I have another deal lined up hopefully to get an 06 Jeep Commander with the Hemi engine in it. I'll find out if it goes through this weekend.

Might have the Green Jeep sold this upcoming week. The new owner test drove it yesterday, then got approved for a loan for it today. If all goes well it will be gone by Wednesday.
