When you went to pass I thought "too narrow!". Not sure when would have been a better place to pass though. Lots of mud on that course, lots of carnage too.
How did the test and tune go? For 9 minutes, how were the rear c/o's?
I didnt really get to test and tune. We werent allowed to run the course at speed because it was still open to the public. I did acouple of quick burst when no one was around and she felt good. Crawling around was really bumpy but taken at speed wasnt too bad.
Hind sight is 20/20 and I should have known better. If you can hear at the end of the video the guy i was trying to pass said that he came back over into me. I still should have waited for a better place. I was faster than him.
All in all the rears did well. I think the springs are really close.
Woah. So sorry to hear man. First off, I'm glad you're okay. I cringed watching the video as I saw you accelerate up the inside line- (knowing the video was almost over and that was the make or break point for the roll). She's an amazing rig and I'm sure you'll figure something out for the future with a rebuild of some sort or another project.
Probably going to look for a tj or lj frame and tub and swap everything over.
The drive train seems to be ok so far. I drove it off the trailer and into the garage. It didnt make any strange noises or anything from the motor or tranny. Well other than the noises coming from the rear axle and shocks as they rubbed and popped.
The sad thing is that the jeep only had 16,800 mile on it. It was just getting broke in.
Oh well, looks like I will be co-dawg'n for john in the A class now.
