Pulled the axle shafts and the oil looked yucky. drained the it all out and it was like mud.

Pulled the third member out and found this.

Looks like I got a little more to do now.

got the rear axle put back together, new ring/pinion, calipers flipped.

tacked the lower mount on to get some measurements and check where I have to cut the frame. Will have to get some wheel spacers. Got some tube bent for the shock hoops. Will need to move fuel filler, evap crap.
Remove tender springs, put 90 fitting on hose......
First race is 3-31-12 I think I can make it. LOL

Used an ammo can with a hole in bottom to the outside. Should work out.

Looks good. How much wider are your axles than stock (not counting wheel spacers)? I'm curious because I had to go about an inch and a half deeper into and past my frame than you to get clearance for the rear c/o coils.

The build is looking strong man! Too bad we are so far apart, it would be a blast running the two jeeps together.

I had the axle made to 64 wms to wms. Then 1.5" spacers now for the co's. they are just going to fit. I hope. Lol. Just got everything tac'ed in place and waiting on springs to show to cycle it for issues.
Should have went with full width axles. This would have been easier.

Can't what to test her out and see how she works. Looks like it will be the day of the first race though . Oh well.

I'm going to try and hit an ecors race just not sure which one yet.

Looks good! What springs did you go with? , Length, weight, did you use a tender?

I was test and tuning the day before the race only to find out my settings were completely off. I patch worked a few things together the morning of the event and it was FAR from perfect, but still better than what it was.

Running 2.5" x 14" with 3x16x250 and 3x14x150 no tenders. I dont know if its going to work yet or not. There is going to be a guy at the race with some different springs if this set up doesnt work.

I'll find out saturdy.

Going to rebuild the fronts after the first race and remove the tenders on them also. The tenders dont work well if your trying to go fast.

Well I now have a new build project. Rebuilding a wrecked jeep.

Not sure what I'm going to do just yet. She was doing really great till the rolls.

Ouch! You're impatience had been growing up until that roll. I'm surprised you two didn't collide.

"Rebuilds" can be fun. My build thread is following a roll. You'll find ways to go more extreme now that fancy yellow body panels have been compromised.

Ya i was getting too impatient and wanted the clean air in front of him. The jeep was feeling so good and she just wanted to GOOOOOO.
It was a big brain fart on not remebering that it is a 2hr endurance race.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.
And remind my copilot to yell at me when I'm not thinking right.
