I got ya. Well either way hope to see you around.

Oh and reguarding more power. There was an LS1, trans and transfer on craigslist in Brownsburg not to long ago. Had the wiring harness all set up for a wrangler to make it plug`n`play. Was like $3500. Not sure if it's still on there or not.

What an awesome rig man!
It is stock with a AEM c/i and the exhaust is cut off just past the cat. Don't tell anyone but I race with the a/c on cause it makes more power that way.

Would you mind uploading a picture of the way your exhaust is set up, with any comments about it's performance and what not? I was kind of looking into setting mine up much the same way, and would like to know how it works for you and all that. Also, and this is probably really stupid, but are these races run in four wheel drive?

I dont have any pics of the exhaust just yet but its really simple. I cut the stock exhaust pipe just past the transfer skid plate and put a chrome down turn end on it. That all i did. It still has the cats but nothing else.

I can't say anything about performance but the seat of the pants says maybe alittle more umpf. Its got a decent rumble to it now. Except on the highway its a bit excessive.

The race is for four wheel drive vehicles. I run in 4hi but could probably do it all except the sand bowl in 2hi

Well I raced street bikes in WERA for 6 yrs so racing something wasnt new and I really liked going fast. I sold the bike awhile back to get seats and the Rockhard cage.

I had been beating on the jeep harder and harder so I figured what the h*ll.

I had already changed out the rear axle before racing the jeep, so it was only the stock rubicon front axle that was still in it.
I figured I would try the first race and see how it went. And peer pressure is a ***** at times.
I didnt even finish one lap before breaking but it was so much fun I had to try it again!!
After that it was race, break, fix, and race again. I've won a couple and had a few DNF's.
The racing has made just trail riding alittle boring at times but its all good.
After the first season i knew i had to change up the suspension in order to go faster. Spent the next year with the jeep on blocks while buying parts for what my wife calls "the mistress".

Its just alot fun.
