^That would be so awesome!!!

Pics definitely don't do Sicily justice, can't wait to get back out there. Wish I could have made this weekend.

Video looks cool Mike. Is flat rock the only race you ran in? Or is that just part of a group of courses you ran?

It is worth the drive... Ultra 4 one a much smaller level.

Here is a few shots to entice you some more (not mine). These are all the extreme class and unlimited classes.

The event is held every year around this time, usually when LSU is on a bi-week. You would qualify for the class above me - Modified.

Yeah. My class started at the bottom of sandy creek, up threw another trail, dropped into the bottom of flat rock, exited at the top and ran the road back to the top of bus top. No one was over 2+ minutes. The Modified class ran this long V notch that had some very tight curves at the beginning and exited almost strait up and out (don't know the trail name). Only half of the 7 entrants finished with an average time of 3-4 minutes. The extreme and unlimited classes ran the same course (since I think the only difference is whether the rig had a street-able frame or not... at one point). The started at the bottom of baby steps running up it, went fast threw the backside of the quarry area and threw a cone course in the field, the dropped into viagra trail (150' vertically going down, 45' horizontally and almost everyone doing a face forward endo that most drove out of), then down to sandy east bottom and strait back up a 300' V notch (don't know the name) that had massive step ups and finished in a 80* slope up. I think most of the competitors finished.

It is a great time and all are welcome in the future. Most rigs are trailered, even in my class. Probably 100-150 rigs and up to 400 people all weekend.

Come on. They even have easy trails for those with nice paint jobs and trailers to haul. The J-truck would look complete different after a weekend here.

Here is the other video of my run.

And a few stills...

Congrats man. I plan on competing next year, jeep was in the shop from a wreck this year. I had to painfully sit passenger all weekend.

Thanks. I will save yall a spot. You can wheel the whole weekend on all the other trails that aren't in the competition like we did between and after the events. Many, many others did as well.

Thanks. Behind the wheel is probably the only way that I could do the race or I would have been screaming louder. I did get to rest my head on the ground a few times as we had the landcruiser over on it's side once, twice.... many times.

And I just said good bye to the full doors for now. I have half doors with soft uppers now. One more color for the "rainbow" LJ (as it was called this weekend).

Yeah. He was motivated and drove up here and swapped at lunch. He carried them home in his caddy's trunk.

You know I rarely discuss $ on here unless I am felt I have been done wrong. But the deal was worth it to me and my hard doors were not in great condition on the exterior. Good thing he went straight to his paint guy plus, LAS kind of talked me into it.

These came with brand new uppers (zipper) in perfect condition. Text or pm me an offer or buy Rudy's for me and we can trade... As long as I get 50% back for the finder feed.

Edit: I just realized that I have an original windshield frame and a cowl left on my jeep from the factory that haven't been modified. I need to figure out how to ruin those with something.

Fair enough , as long as your happy with the deal thats all that matters . I am liking the soft doors enough to consider selling the hard doors but I think I will just put them in the attic for now .
