Preview of where the lights ended up while the bracket's paint is drying.

installed the shroud and overflow bottle. We ended up removing the radiator to get the shroud in. Marked and drilled the holes up 3/4" to allow the shroud to drop down 3/4" which is all there was room for. I would have liked it to go another 1/4-1/2" down but the fan blades didn't hit after the jeep was started.

And the front shot. I don't have any post-paint pictures.

The two new ones are wide angle while the long one is a spot.

Man that'll certainly light up the trail!

So jealous of that winch too! I saw one in action a couple weeks ago, the guy had to winch himself up and off a huge rock that was the full width and length of the undercarriage, so he hooked up to a tree about 12' up and was able to pick the front up and spin the rear around using the go pedal. Did it sooo fast too, very impressive winches.

It is actually kind of funny that I mounted them there. This morning I remembered posting in your thread not to mount the same lights right beside the winch. I had to go back and look. I thought it was the best place on mine because of how the 8274 mounts. It mounts to the front of the winch plate which gives it an offset backwards so the mounting hareware for the lights wont ever be close enough to the cable and the same thing with the electrical stuff which is out of the way. The lights brightened the whole backyard last night and a neighbor ask me to turn them off too!!!

The 8274 is not a joke. I highly recommend getting one however you can as long as you dont rip it off my rig. They are indestructible especially when you mod them. BTW, there is a motor that will double the line speed, so it can go even faster. I can't wait to get the control box mounted back up and wired to pull others out.

Actually, the J truck is very much on my mind or better yet just buying an old 2nd gen toyota p.u. 2wd and start from there..... anyways, it wont happen for years.... More time to think, dream and collect tools.

Deal, but this will probably be the last post until then if you want. I was really delaying the painting for the little vacation that I am starting tomorrow but it will be done afterwards.....someday.

Of all the people posting, you have actually seen it in person and stood 10' away but it was on road and unpainted... I guess. Seriously, I will pm you when it is ready for the ditches and the other trail we talked about. Post up a map of sicily in this thread if you have one and the name of that trail. I covered most of the park last year but can't for the life of me figure out where it is.

I heard you.

And just so you all can see it years ago before I owned it...... Found these on JeepsUnlimited a long time ago.

ThrowbackThursday...Friday.

I think all that was done at this time was bumpers f+R, lift, tires and wheels. That front bumper looks nothing like that anymore.... just hacked up haha.

But the hood is Orange

Looking good! Like others have said at least you are still working on the Jeep. Mine has come to a halt between the messed up regear job and moving to a new house. Got nearly 5 acres to do as I please with now and no neighbors close enough to bother. Going to start getting the garage cleaned up and set up tomorrow.

Looking for: 03-06 interior plastic trim. PM me.
