Not at this time. I have been eyeballing a dana 44 front for a while and have not pulled the trigger for many reasons, let alone the price...

Final pulled the shaft.

Superior replacement on the way, which makes my response above incorrect.

Thanks! I like them too.

The front shaft will be here tomorrow and the jeep will be back rolling soon. And I just purchased a lightly used full soft top. Now to find another set of sunrider hardware to I can modify my old ripped soft top into some type of truck cab.... with a sunrider top. (insert evil laugh)

Does the hood vent work well at cooling the engine and removing the heat? Do you know how much your temp guage has dropped after normal drive as opposed to when the hood had no opening on top?
thanks

Corner armor look great! How much did you pay for powder coat? I've been thinking of powder coating mine. I got mine ready to go for this weekend. I also ordered Rokmen rock sliders and they are so incredible. I would strongly suggest replacing those little guys for some more Rokmen beef!

Engine temps should not drop due to the louvers, he should still be running at normal operating temps around 210. The louver will prevent heatsoak which is when the engine compartment holds in the heat and the engine components become hotter then the normal operating temps. So louvering the hood will allow the engine to run at 210 w/out baking everything else in the engine compartment.

The temp gauge last summer before the louvers would creep above 210 during the day with the engine under load (pulling a Trailor or with ac on). So I decided it maybe needed. Had done it on my old cj and had good results. I haven't had the temp gauge above the 210 since and on the trails it sits just below. But how much do you trust jeep gauges anyways.

I am going to replace them. Just trying to decide between boat side, savvy, or more rokmen. One of these days I'll get to it but I might be doing seats next... On the powdercoat, It was 40 or 50. One of the guys I wheel with made his own oven out of walk cooler panels and an old stove and has been doing it for about a year. His products look great and it I had had the time I could have done it myself for free. It wasnt in the cards at the time.

Just finish the axle install. Did not end up using the long shaft for superior. It appear that the shaft was 3 cm in diameter larger than the stock shaft. Anyways, after f-ing up a u joint and trying...... Blah blah blah.

Finished.

The 4 bolts that hold the drive shaft to the front of the t-case had backed out and one fell out. Went to the bolt store and they could not replace these. I might need to go to the stealership tomorrow... But two wheel drive till then.
