I finally made a build thread (I.O.J)

I always wanted a jeep since I can remember. And when I started to really get into snowboarding (skied and boarded my whole life),when I was 21, I knew I needed a truck I can count on to get 300 + miles to the mountian, so in feb 05, I bought a 2005 jeep wrangler sport Impact Orange with a d44 rear, 3.73 gears, hard top and soft top and some 30 in tires straight out off the show roomFLOOR with .4 miles on it. The best day in my life, until 2 weeks ago. So my main plain for my jeep was to have a good looking daily driver that can get me to the snoweyst mountians, Hard core snowboarder. So I kick my self in the *** for not finding this site sooner(1: I could of saved some money by not bringing it to the stealership 2: I could of had a build thread so I could look back over the years and see the progres of my jeep 3: I find out so much info on my truck I never knew about, Like checking the computer codes. A--mazing)So I'm gonna list all the mods I put on so far, show a whole bunch of pictures, Then begin with 2 weeks ago when I put my 4.5 rubicon express lift on.

So first thing I had to do to my new jeep was put a stereo system in it. I Planed on driving 6 hours to vermont and many other road trips so I knew I wanted a good entertament system. First in was a kenwood kdc x889 excelon head unit with hd radio and sirius ready that I got hooked up....FOR LIFE. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-d4IMQ5H5VTt/p_113KDCX889/Kenwood-Excelon-KDC-X889.html
2 kenwood kac x522 amps excelon http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/KAC-X522.aspx?gclid=CJSnx-Hzq5wCFZVB5godGyWYlQ
a kenwood 6.95 tv lz702w with navihttp://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/kenwoodlz-702w.aspx?gclid=CPuT1az0q5wCFcxB5godrDOEkg
2 10 in kicker solo baricshttp://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/08s10l54.aspx?gclid=CPPpw-b0q5wCFdxD5godZBAAlA
not the L5 series. Placed in a custom box (link will follow)and the stock sub is still in use just never changed. It sounds A--mazing. A 7 in tv in the rear veiw mirror, Can't remember the name and its not on it, like this though http://www.tootoo.com/d-rp19312913-Car_rear_veiw_mirror_LCD_TV/ new speakers in sound bar, on the dash and I added 2 more speakers and 2 more tweeters behind the front seats in a speaker pod,all kenwood excelon. an I pod wire with av out puts and dc power cord, an inverter withe 2 outlets and last but not least an optima battery. I have the ipod hooked up to the aux output out of the face, I also have movies on my I pod so I hooked that up to both tvs. The I pod gets charged by the inverter that runs off a switch, I still have an open outlet that I can plug my laptop, camera, cell phone or the ocacanill blender. So now I have one bad A$$ entertiment system.
Next thing I bought was this thule storage box cause i now have no trunk, not that we have one to begin with. http://www.rackattack.com/product-pages/thule-684-terrapin.asp And got it painted to match the impact orange. And a snow board rack for my hard top. Now I was ready to ride.
Then over the last 4 years I added a lot of random stuff as money allowed it
LIGHTSDelta quadbar headlights, Delta Roof Light bar, KC fog lights direct replacements for bumper, KC spot lights mounted on wind shield via Delta wind shield mounts, Clear turn signals (front and side), 1 3/4 x 5 in reverse light mounted in bumper, Lite dot led rear lights, and blue led lights in the dash, hvac controls, overdrive, rear defroster and rear wiper
OTHER Hood scoop, Rain guards, Black gas cover, Grab bars every where, License plate re-locator to the 5th wheel with led light, Compass, Quick disconnect soft top bars, smaller am/fm antenna that looks like cb antenna, Bushwaker fender flares, chrome side view mirror covers(you can all hate but it adds class 31x10.50 mickey thompson mtz mounted on 15x8 DC 1 wheels
CUSTOM STUFFMade turn off switch for door lights, Hockey puck seat risers, Shovel and hatchet mounted under the hood, por 15 the whole frame, Gas tank skid, front bumper, transmission skid and door latch strike, Painted head light trim ring black, painted center bezel impact orange, Painted dash and doors black with a accent of gray, Painted sound bar light black (Took the clear light covers off, actually music blew it off), Painted wind shield fluid resivor black

So 2 months ago I finally pulled the trigger and orderd the 4.5 in rubicon express super flex lift with the 3.5 in springs. Orderd from 4x4 group buy that came with every thing. Shocks, Traction bars, Quick disconnects, control arms, tom woods drive shaft, Advance adapters S.Y.E, Brake lines and I think other stuff I cant remember. Got it installed 2 weeks ago and I'm loving life to the fullest!!! Cant be any happier. well I should get my tires this week, 33 x 12.50 mickey thompson MTZ, so Ill be even Happier. Went to a couple trails up in Pa while on a camping trip and I'm very impressed.
So I have a couple of more things I wanna do(OBA system tube fenders front and rear bumpers winch and ill just hopefully stop there) So when the tires come in and I get them mounted and an anlingment Ill take plenty of pictures and contiune my thread. Thanks to the people who helped, and to the people who reads all this crap

Man, you POR-15'd the hell out of that thing. Did you do the prep stages first (clean/degrease, etc..) or did you just put it right on? Looks really good, nice Jeep.
