93 YJ on 42's

Hello, I've been trolling this site for the past 4 years. I love all the input and enjoy reading about all the great builds and input the readers give towards a build thread. As a team this site provides guys like me years of accumulated knowledge....Thank you. I'm not a mechanic and unfortunately work 60 hours a week, so I'll be paying a local shop to build this over the next few months.

History- I bought a 93 YJ in 2010 $3000.00
Installed a Dana 60 rear axle, 4.88 gears and detroit locker with Moly shafts.
Front Dana 44, geared 4.88, Molly shafts and also detroit locked with Warn hubs.
It has the stock Ax-5 and stock transfer case.
35" tires can on it and a 3" body lift, with stock springs. The Jeep rides like a brick.
Stock seats with standard seat belts.
Roll cage is attached to the stock location on the window.

I will keep the stock 4 banger for now, I like the gas mileage and don't do sand dunes. I mostly rockcrawl and do mountain trails.

Future- The Jeep is currently at the shop and will go on the rack in the next few days. Here is a list of upgrades planned in the next few months.
I will 4 link the rear and 3 link the front
Stretch wheel base ?...not sure exact length yet. look forward to your input.
Build and install new 6 point roll cage tied into frame with spare tire above the rear seat.
New Dana 60 front axle, molly shafts 32 spline, detroit with Warn hubs
I'll be going to 42" tires on beadlocks.
Genright 23 gallon comp tank

I'll be chopping the front and rear, so we will build tube the fenders and install 3/16" boat sliders.

We're going with an Atlas transfer twin stick case and purchased a used Ax15 to handle it. I know the engine and trans will be weak, but I've got to stop somewhere.

mastercraft Baja seats- built to frame with 5 point harness
