So we got the front end all put back together and it feels pretty good. Glad it's done! Not something I want to do again for a while.

Took her for a spin and was still having some issues with the brakes, seemed like it wasn't braking evenly. Since we already did the front, we popped the hubs off the rears and two springs and the adjuster fell right out! Rotted and rusted parts everywhere!!

Some pics of the New rear shoes and hardware for both rear brakes. Now my e-brake actually works again!

also replaced the cylinders but just realized this pic had the old ones in them. We were test fitting the pads and making sure everything was correct when I took the pic.

My recent project on the jeep is the steering box... It has been leaking for a while out of the rear seal and this past month or so it has been leaking bad. Bought a new one and it is ready to be put in. Took the old one off and now it's sitting on the bench waiting to have the pitman arm pulled off and put on the new one. Once that is installed and the new pump put in.....(crosses fingers).... It SHOULD be ready for the road!!!!

I don't think I mentioned it earlier in the thread but over Memorial Day weekend we went down to Dover, DE to watch the NASCAR race at the Monster Mile!! It was pretty cool I have to say!! We went down to see my girlfriends mother, she brings her camper down every year so we got to tag along this year.

J - E - T - S JETS JETS JETS!! Went to MetLife stadium with some buddies for the Jets vs. Buccaneers game yesterday. I'm by no means a Jets fan (go patriots!!) but it was fun. It was a bachelor party for my buddy who is a Jets fan.

Ive been working on my power steering box in the last few days. I got the old one out and the new one mounted. Now my tires are way out of alignment, hopefully tomorrow ill be able to correct it and get my steering wheel back to center. Ive looked and found some tips, I don't think will be too hard.

Also picked up a set of front hub/bearing assembly. I figured I might as well replace all the bearings this year and be done with it (at least the front end).

Thanks man. Not much for progress on the truck, had to bring the girlfriends car to the shop last week for regular maintenance. I have an appt to drop it off at the local body shop for a quote on Monday. I'm thinking like $2500-$3000 in damage. Good thing for insurance!

Bought some gorilla lug nuts the other day. I stripped 3 of the old ones taking the tires off and on this year. Hopefully these babies will last a while. I don't know if I will put the lock nuts on my drive tires or my spare. I'm not too concerned about thieves stealing the tires out from under the jeep.
