They work like normal. No fast blinking issues. The tail lights still regulate the blinking and the trailer follows the vehicles blinking cycle. They blink exactly with the tail lights.

I got them on sale at tractor supply a few weeks ago for $35, they were back up to $55 today.

got the new Tom Woods front driveshaft installed tonight, along with putting the skids back up.

Getting ready for Rausch Creek this weekend for the Hardrock crawlers annual turkey run. trailering it up Friday with a buddy. should be a blast as always...

well the excitement of having the new driveshaft was short lived....

i took it for a quick test drive around the house during the initial install and everything seemed fine. top speed was only 35 though,,, fast forward to last night when i took a longer faster trip and i noticed that there were new excessive vibrations. So tonight i took a quick video of the shaft with my go pro, but it was too dark to see much. Then the skid plates came back down, i inspected the both ends of the shaft to ensure proper installation (pics below) and then removed it and took it for another drive. vibes were gone. so in went my old driveshaft and skids reinstalled. subsequent test drive yielded no new vibes again.

so the brand new Tom Woods shaft was causing some type of high speed (+45MPH) vibe. going to wheel with my old shaft this weekend and get ahold of Tom Woods to build me a replacement shaft.

Glad to see your moving right along with it. Plan on a winter run at Gore maybe. We did the last two years, so probably go again this year.

As far as the driveshaft is concerned. A few minutes after I sent an email to Tom Woods with my story and pictures, I got a phone call from Tom himself. He is sending me a replacement driveshaft and a return label for this bad one.
In my email I asked about upgrading the new shaft to sealed spicer u-joints and told him I didn't mind paying the extra. He said he was upgrading me for free. I even tried to pay for it. He wouldn't have it.

That's why I work with reputable companies. Might pay a few more dollars, but their customer service is worth it.

A+ for Tom Woods.

That's right in line with what I have heard about Tom. I probably should have gone that route myself, but my Tatton's rear shaft looks and works great so far , time will tell though as I have only driven around the block ha. I will probably stick with him for my front shaft too. I should be up and running by winter for sure so that Gore trip is sounding good. Take it easy man and I'll be in touch here and there- let you know when I'm ready to wheel.

Sold the rear axle this morning. Gave the guy my old trac bars, V8 ZJ steering and spare 35 shafts.

Good way to start a wheeling weekend.

Little body damage and soft top damage. Nothing major, but the top will take some fixing. Ill have to check, but the A-B pilar crossbar may have bent when I leaned into the tree and ripped the top.

Had a buddy and his girlfriend with me so we stayed mostly to the blue trails with an occasional black. Also had some newbies to wheeling who had never need offroad before. One guy had a brand new 14' unlimited with 2k miles on it.

Will upload more pictures and video later.

Also ripped my soft top and roll bar padding. Going to have a buddy who is an upholster patch it.

It is a nice set up wish I could claim them.

Truck is my buddy's who rode with me. Trailer belongs to another club member who couldn't attend our trip. We towed my jeep up in case anyone else needed a trailer to come home with b/c I can typically drive mine home. Just nice to have extra trailer space if needed. Luckily nobody needed the trailer space.

8 was very nice. Let the tire flex quite a bit more than 10. Good call.
