You planning on going to Oak Ridge for the annual?

cant make it. ive got to be in NJ for a wedding alot of the HRC club will be there though.

I am trying to get to Gore the weekend before for their main jambo event. Probably just wheel saturday and come home on sunday. you should come too. think about it as a pre Oak Ridge day...

EDIT: at the very least we need to plan a trip to RC in the fall.

I only get 5 days off a month and either wheeling trip would take 3 of them. That makes doing both trips impossible. My brother isn't going to Oak Ridge either so it would come down to whether or not Kevin wants to take the Raider. Gore is a possibility, but unlikely. RC is definitely on my to do list. I'll have to try to talk Amy in to it.

Oak Ridge would have been a perfect way to test out my new axles and suspension, but ohh well.

no need to talk Amy into it... come up Thursday or Friday night, drop her *** off at my place with Sarah, pick her up Sunday on the way home. its easy.

if Kevin doesnt go to Oak Ridge will you go by yourself?

your LJ needs to see the trails more often... come to think of it, so does mine...

changing directions slightly in regards to track bars.

I placed an order for the Metalcloak front track bar. when the install time comes ill make the determination which bar will work better, MC or Currie (TJJ) or OEM. Though based on the MC vs Currie track bar thread, i'm leaning towards the MC bar. (despite the heim).

this way, I will have the currie, MC and a OEM track bar to play with. hopefully one of them is the clear winner.

also going to pick up a OEM d44 diff cover, in case the ruffstuff style cover currently installed does not play nice with either track bars.

If you decide to outboard the rear shocks are you still going to use your ome shocks? I think you will need at least 11" or travel IIRC!

Shocks are still TBD. But as of now I'm leaning toward fox remote res's with the Wayne tune. Also possibly switching to 4" currie coils possibly in raised frame side buckets.

Haven't given springs and shocks too much thought though. They are a ways off.

Glad I checked. Metalcloak sent me a rear track bar instead of a front…

Man was I confused until I figured that out. Hopefully they can get me squared away before next weekend.

Call the office tomorrow. Will or Matson will get you squared away no problem.

Will got me squared away today. One quick email with a picture was all that was needed. He is going to get me one by the end of the week so ill have it for next weekend.

Ohh well **** happens.

That's why I plan my build materials out in full before build day. Getting excited to start the front transformation. Friday morning will be here soon enough.

If you still have the rear bar, I might be interested in buying it.

You will have to work that out with Will @ metalcloak. I'm supposed to ship it back to them when the new one arrives. I can ship it wherever they want me to.

Still don't have the correct front track bar from MC. Hopefully it shows up today.
