update:
got my RK long arm kit installed two weeks ago. yesterday we worked some of the bugs out of it such as new shock dimensions, brake line tweaking, and the need for limiting straps. won't get a trail ride for a bit though...traveling for my job until mid-december

my g/f snagged if off of me for our last trail ride. we took her jeep and needed the receiver hitch on it for our rack full of camping gear. i told her i wanted it back....but it's not looking good so far!

a friend offered them to me for a price i couldn't refuse. i had RE4.5 springs with 1 3/4" spacers before - with the skyjacker 8" coils i now get nothing but flex all the way up and down. they were "pre-broken in" before i got them...so it gave me a total of 1 1/2" total lift over my previous set up - but again at least it's full coils in front. i love the RK arms so far - both ends have good/bad points depending on how you look at them. from the front - the single torque arm on top totally eliminates any binding when i flex...and flex you will! bad point is that if that one arm goes then you're out of luck. i may throw an old stock arm in the back just for good measure until i get used to the idea. for the back - the triangulated 4-link system ditches the trackbar entirely - an awesome tradeoff in my book. no more hopping to the side on bumps..and it steers into and out of corners twice as well. on the down side i think the upper 4-link arms are shorter than some of the competitors and may not flex quite as far as i had hoped. i'm going to keep tweaking it some and then see if i can get more out of it.
thanks
chris
