Her Moss Green 97 XJ Build

I recently bought this (3/8/13) Cherokee for my lady to replace our Subaru. Its a Moss Green 1997 Cherokee Sport. I bought it from the second owner for $3,300 with 115,499 miles. Not bad if you ask me! Ill be "building" this to be a comfortable daily driver.

Specs:

Year: '97

Model: Cherokee Sport

Drive Train: 4.0/AW4, HP30/8.25 (29spl)

Suspension: Stock for now

Wheels/Tires: Stock for now. i have some 15x8 4" bs Craigers i might throw on it.

Let the fun begin

Got rid of the sport decal, painted the wheels and made all the trim black again

Replaced the fog lights with some duallys

No more huge fogs

The previous owner was a smoker. That paired with the abundant amount of Saddle colored interior I needed to tone it down and replace some things inside. I decided on 99 WJ leather seats front and rear and a black center console:

Very nice, I will be watching this thread through until the end. . . Wait a minute. Are XJ's EVER done? I like the rims that you put on it! Saving up for a set of Cragar D-Windows for my XJ.

You might be waiting a while! I have the old 3" IRO lift from my jeep for her along with some adjustable upper & lower control arms. She's in no rush to lift this thing. It drives great the way it is and if we want to go camping/off the beatin path we take my jeep.
