"Helga" the 06' TJ build

Here's the back story on my Jeep. it's a 2006 Jeep wrangler "x" with six speed manual. I purchased Helga in 2015 from friend who bought it from the original owner. it has a 2" suspension lift and 33"x 12.5"x 15R and an aftermarket bumper as the only upgrades. He didn't know how to drive a manual, so after a month of attempting to teach him and a blown out clutch during a trip down to North Carolina (I was actually driving at the time of the incident ) he decided to sell it. I was in love with it. I always loved jeeps and lifted trucks, my next door neighbors were always building some new rig. Although I had next to no knowledge about jeeps or how to build them. But thinking it was a pretty completed rig with a brand new clutch I bought it. Everything is running great is great, I met my girlfriend 6 months later and she affectionately named it Helga, which just sorta stuck. The more I drove it the more I realized how much work and Money I was actually going to have to put into it. So I started with some fun stuff, I replaced the OEM headlights with tufftruck Halogen lights, as well as procomp offroad lights mounted to my front bumper. I don't have many pics of my jeep right now but I will be updating that this weekend. For now here is a picture of it from last winter. We had a big (for Maryland) snow storm, and the mall dumped piles of snow in parking spots, well I couldn't find a parking spot, so I made one. Perks of having a jeep

I have BIG plans for my TJ, But time and money is something i'm in short supply of being a sailor. But here is somethings I hope to do in the Near future.
Currie Front and rear trac bar
Currie upper and lower adjustable control arm, for the front and rear
Savvy Aluminum panel armor and rock sliders
1.25" Body lift
Warn winch.
Probably will end up doing an upgrade on the lift eventually as well as a dana 44 or dana 60 and well down the road a cummins 4 cylinder diesel and coilover suspension.

Got around to removing the old steering, had a hard time removing the connection at the pitman arm, but the air hammer with the fork attachment made short work of that.
