This pic might be easier to see the angle:

I cant get over that with the small amount of lift that I have it needs so much more angle then yours. Thanks for the pics. Gives me an idea for later on when I do my axle build.

Next on my list, outside of maintenance items, is most likely some Bilstein 5100s, then figuring out what I'm doing with my rear end; I might be able to get away with my current brackets with different uppers, if I only put in some 1" h&r springs.

Next after all my suspension is sorted out, I'll be dealing with seats, engine skid, tt, & rockers & full corners....& some type of front cage add on. Seats, cage, engine skid, & rockers are higher priorities than corners

Well.... ****

Someone "broke" into my jeep last night, in my driveway & didn't wake me, my dog or anyone else up & stole my phone dock/mount.

This is the 8th? time I've had a break in...the first here at home. At school it was kinda expected, but here, in a nice neighborhood & on a circle (not a through street)...not so much...

I might look into an alarm eventually; I know it won't stop anything, but it might help.

I really hate getting to the jeep & finding its been gone through...but at least the jeep itself is there

I picked up a cowl panel from a 98 today, so the cowl intake can happen soon. I'm not sure if I'm going to:

1. Wet sand & paint the cowl gloss black
2. Have the cowl painted by the guy who painted my jeep (he'll probably do it for a good price)
3. Paint it Satin black like my tailgate

Short list of upcoming:

-Distributor (aftermarket one doesn't seat properly & seeps oil) replace it or get thicker gasket material

-Exhaust Manifold (have newer 2 piece manifold, gasket, & hardware)

-Front upper CA bushings

-Rear TB bushings

-Check JJs on rear upper CAs

-Front Brake calipers (mine have almost 194k on them, unless they've been been replaced before I got the jeep)

-Deal with rust in some places

-Sliders

-Fix or replace tail lights

-Possibly replace my 8.8 brackets (artec truss?)

-Shocks....& maybe springs

-Antirock

Pics of cowl:

Parts on the way:
-Rear TB bushings
-Cowl scoop
-Wraparound windjammer

Mods/Maint up coming when I can actually work on it:
-Rear TB bushings
-Cowl intake
-Exhaust Manifold
-Distributor
-Front CA bushings
-Fix rust that's popping up in some places
-Change 8.8 brackets?...Artec?

Here's a pic from the Photoshop thread..idea I was playing with:

Picked up a distributor out of an xj today from the jy.

Have all the hardware & such for the exhaust manifold & all the stuff to do the cowl intake. I just need the time to do those & a good day to paint the cowl.

The rear TB bushings came in & I'll be doing those soon. While I was under the jeep spraying the TB bolts with pb, I found I have a bit of play in the rear lower ca bushings.

I have rear lower Currie arms, I just need to order JJ ends for both.

I'll update this more later. Did the distributor, some maintenance & the cowl intake & traded the rampage for an oem sailcloth top.

But I'm uploading a video now....the sound of the intake + the exhaust on the stroker is about as perfect of a sound an engine can make imo

I'll post the videos once they upload

Not really...I had some JJs coming in from another jf member, for my currie rear lowers that need the threaded end.

...well, the box came, all beat to **** & empty, with a note from usps that basically said sorry, we lost your ****

So, once all the insurance forms process & whatnot, I'll order some new ones I guess b/c:

A. I want to shorten the lowers & hopefully end the war that my 8.8 & gts have been having.

B. My rear lower CA bushings have enough play that I can see them move if I lay under the jeep & move it back & forth, in gear. I don't want that to start wallowing out the holes (if it hasn't already)

C. I get a pull to the right when going from load to no load & I think it's from the rear tb bushings, but the play in the rear lowers can't be helping it either.

Oh & ordered some new taillights...but they're backordered for a few weeks

I'm not sure if I posted this...but last year in winter break, I did the 15 to 19 gallon gas tank mod. Just dropped the tank, trimmed up the vent tube & pot egging back together.

That mod was so nice, I love not having go fill up so often. It makes long trips much better
