Okay so i got some rubi rims and tires

i picked up stuff to build a front axle and some rear disk parts
The plan
hp dana 30 with 3:73
wj knuckle swap
tie rod flip with 1 ton steering
maybe a truss of some sort.
truss inner cs

dana 44 rear with disk brakes
3:73 with tracklock
chromoly shafts
and replace one of the tubes

i will try to document the wj knuckle swap as much as i can

The front:
Dana 30 hp from a cherokee = Free
Used hp 30 3:73 gear set = ??? havent found one yet
wj knuckle swap. Wj knuckles, calipers, steering, and rotors = $50
truss the inner C's and truss some axle brackets too = free steel
new ball joints and axle joints = ?
wheel bearing spacers = $36 for both sides

Rear:
04 tj dana 44 = $50
needs to be retubed, 2ft of 2 5/8 od dom $86 :O
3:73 gear sset with trac loc = $200
Chromoly axle shafts = $230 to $250
rear disk brake conversion with parts from grand cherokee dana 35 = included in the kunckle cost
Rear pads and rotors = ??

Still undecided on steering, i would like to do a tie rod flip with 1 ton tre and dom tubing. but who knows. Here are some pictures to keep you tied up

Another reason for the swap built in high steer, not like i need it but its always a plus

Here is the rear caliper and mounting bracket for disk brakes

Here is the main reason for doing the wj knuckle swap :0 the huge dual piston brakes

here is what is left of the passenger side tube. i just dont have the housing at my house right now

I went to pick up the hp d30 to start tear down, only to find it's bent. So I think I'm going to build my lp 30. It's starting to make more sense because I already have gears for a lp and I don't have to throw money at a axle I plan on switching in the future.

Anyways I've been thinking about springs to go with the rear I've narrowed it down to bds, rough country, savvy/currie. I'm really not sure what ones yet.

Only other real update is I put the stock tires on to gain some mpg back

Got something productive done. Got my winch back and put on! Ordered the ucf d44 truss with cover and 2 d ring mounts for my front bumper. Also I bought some stock shafts for 50 bucks I figured I won't be to hard on them
Slid the other tube in the axle to make her one piece!!

Well the chromollys for the 44 are sitting in my room, I decided it would be wiser because bearings and seal are ****in expensive.

So stock 44 shafts are for sale pm me

Cut part of my finger off so I've been off for surgery and stuff, so I haven't really got around to doing too much to it besides looking at it

Bought a tube bender and opted for the swag mount works very well. Bent up a grill guard.

Won a max bilt diff cover
