Thanks guys! Got all the perches and sway bar brackets cutoff this AM, most of the way ground down. got the rotors off for turning and tried to BFH the dust shields back to usable. going to pick up some more brake cleaner and cutting wheels, and a new $10 grinder from HF. And probably a 30 pack too

Putting this list here because im too lazy to use paper.

Stuff I need:

Driveshaft-tatton
front locker-probably Lokka, i like $198 shipped
rear trans seal-actually it looks good and not leaking so I will leave it alone
tc input seal, leaking badly
shackle bushings frame side
front brake pads
turn front and rear rotors
front hub to knuckle bolt, 1 is missing
rear brake calipers, pads (ebrake pads) all new lines needed
zj or xj pitman arm

Got primer on the floor. Still deciding if the seam sealer is all I will use, or if I should body fill the edge first . didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped but I'm done caring.

Looks just fine to me. I think you will be just fine with seam sealer. After all, I don't think you are building a show Jeep. You are building it to use it.

I plan on monstalining it sometime this year, and im not sure how hard the seam sealer gets. The old stuff is hard but its 23 years old. just dont want it to end up too spongy is all.
I did throw the seat back in, oh it looks so good with a seat. been out since november something. Now if my damn part would show up I will finish the TC, button that in and start ripping axles out

Dropped off the 4 rotors to be turned, found out the 8.8 ones are too thin. Already have to buy calipers too and the core charge is more than the caliper.
Think I will be going junkyard surfing yet again because I dont have $241 to dump in the rear brakes

That's a lot for brakes! Have you priced it on rock auto yet? Or just local auto.

that was O'rielly auto. They all have a core charge on the calipers, I don't have any old ones to give em, the 8.8 came w/o them. However my favorite local upull has them for $20 each. the pitman arm I need is $10. The rotors were $12 or something. Just a matter of finding some in decent shape. Love that they list all part prices online so I can see before I go. rock auto cheapest is $116 for all of it before shipping or brake pads ($20). I might get the rotors If unable to find decent used ones, since they are 16 vs 33 at the store.

Not trying to be a total cheap-*** but I have spent a ton already and have another ton to spend yet on other stuff Suppose I could just do my taxes

That looks great, it will certainly serve the purpose. Good work.

Dont worry I dont think you could be a bigger cheap skate than Me and Ashland dont tell him I said that. I reused my brakes calipers and pads my 8.8 had good ones on it so I just turned the disks I got friends in high places and my father-in-law works at a stealership so just used their machine in after hours. there are cheap ways to do things just got to make friends with the right people.
Nice build by the way been watching for a while and decided to speak up.
