Looks awesome! !!!!! Not sure why your mileage is so bad. All day on hells revenge I only used 3-4 gallons.

3 link-44 FW front w/ spool, 4 link 14 bolt rear w/spool. 16" FOA Coilovers, Barnes Enduro Joints, Daves custom boat sides/rear armor.

Check out my build here!

Someone uploaded a good video today of the pics you see with the big wheelie and the guys standing on rockers. It is incorrectly titled "Flop" If I didnt have the family with me I would have just went for it. It was my fault for taking a bad line to the driverside, the previous obstacle kind of set me up that way. All in all it was my favorite part of the day :P Back left tire was too far up that hill.

After last Saturdays wheeling trip I am moving 2 items to the top of the list. Cracked manifold is one, god awful brakes is the other. I had to routinely shift to neutral and stand on the brakes to stop on steep declines.
I bought a cardone double diaphragm booster for a 95yj, matching master cylinder. Here is where a friend helped me get creative.
I needed to address the proportioning valve for the rear discs. I grabbed a 98 zj valve with rear discs from the junkyard. It has abs though and a funky mount. We pulled the internals and put them in an xj prop valve. It has a nice bracket to bolt to MC, and the lines on the proper side. Just waiting on the master cylinder to arrive and some time to install!

Were you not happy with the YJ proportioning valve? Be careful getting the front brakes to grabby on a steep decline, the *** end has a tendency to overtake the front end. That's never pleasant.

If yer gonna fight, fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark.

The stock stuff is set up for disc/drum. New setup is for disc/disc, to match the 8.8 discs. As of now I can't even feel the rears working

I slammed on my brakes on snow packed roads and the rear didn't even lock up when the fronts did. The front should get more pressure but the rear should lock up on slick snow.

Though in my experience trucks with rears disks wear out rear pads quicker than the front.

I don't even know what's real anymore...

I have read a lot that guys have put the rear on stands, put into gear and can't even get the rears to stop in the air, with the stock valve and discs.

I had to get mine up on stands for one reason or another and it was more difficult to stop them than I thought it would be.

Threw together another video today, splitscreen of the little pickle I was in last saturday. Of course the software added a stupid watermark to the middle of it. Kind of cool to see both vantages. The split starts at 1:50. Kind of a long video, there was a lot of BS'ing

Got my new MC today. All ready to go on this 95 booster swap. Pictured is the 95 mc and booster, prop valve and bracket from an xj, with the internals from a 4 wheel disc zj prop valve. This was a friends brainchild. Hopefully get it in this weekend.
