Well I cleared my schedule this coming Monday so I can get some surgery done........on my Smittybuilt stinger. I'm hacking the stinger off and welding on the hoop in the pics I previously posted. I'll post some pre and post-op pics.

Me too! I haven't seen anyone do to a Smitty stinger what I'm about to do, which either makes me a pioneer or an idiot..........we shall see.

And so begins the nose job. Started by hacking the stinger off the Smitty bumper. Then I fabbed up some funky little plates to cover the holes.

The Smitty welds were suprisingly stout and took a while to cut through. The "powdercoat" however was a different story, it was no match for a 60 grit flapper disc. I will take the flapper disc to the entire bumper to get it down to smooth metal and then repaint it satin black to match everything else on the Jeep. I never have cared for the crinkle finish that came on the bumper.

Plates and light hoop getting the hook-up. That's my buddy doing the welding. We attached some light tabs on the hoop and got everything welded up. Tomorrow I will clean up the welds and get it painted. I love how it's looking so far.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.
