In other news, I worked my tail off this week on several off-duty gigs and scraped together about $1500 (tire money)...only to find out that we're about a grand short of paying our property taxes this year. Guess we dipped a little too deep in the savings this year. Oops. It is what it is, at least I get to keep my house for another year.

I swear if I don't get some new meats soon, the Mrs. is gonna find her JKU on jackstands while I go wheel the Bucket on her factory pizza cutters.
I hear you on the property taxes. Texas has some real high property taxes. I hate having to write that check every year. We actually have an account set up and deposit $600 each month just for property taxes.

I'm glad I have my property taxes and homeowners insurance on an escrow account tied to my house payment.

They have no income tax in Texas , the money has to come from somewhere.

Life was much easier when I did it that way. Around here its not the property tax so much as the school taxes that crush the pocketbook. Total taxes this year was around 5 grand.

Anybody got their ears on out there?

Just figured I'd drop by and say hi as I approach the two year anniversary of The Bucket sitting on jack stands. It's still mine and it's still sitting in my shop and I don't see that changing any time soon. It's just not a priority right now.

All is well, loving life and raising my three boys.

As you were gentlemen.

Good to hear your still around. Why is it sitting on jackstands again?

Still here, glad to hear things are good. Nothing wrong with family first. These days I shoot for one big wheeling trip a year, anything else is a bonus.
