I haven't had any problems with mine. It's slow and the gauge isn't very accurate, but it doesn't take up much space and works great. For the price its a pretty good value.

does it have a separate power switch? I'd like to run the line to the back with quick connect and have a switch with the rest of mine in the cab. Hard wire it and have a fuse and relay

Awesome build, Fuzz. I respect the decision to close the book on the TJ. I think I'll be getting to that point soon as well.
Give a shout when a new project comes along, as I'll definitely want in on reading it
Over & out.

It's not the end, it's the beginning of a long happy life of wheeling. My Rubi is pretty much done, nothing else I can afford to do to it for quite sometime....unless I want the wife to kill me. I'm not closing the book on it, I'm going to start a chapter on wheeling it.
There's nothing wrong with getting the Jeep to where you want it to be and stopping, hell I can't even think about keeping up with the Jones' (aka: Imped, Hendrix, Bennett.....and so forth )

Thanks guys. I got to the point where I spent way more time underneath it than I did behind the wheel. It was no longer a labor of love...it was just labor. Gonna take a break from wrenching and recharge my batteries a bit. But......I'll be back. Either with a sequel to the 'bucket or a new project. In the meantime, I see wheeling and camping in my future.
And the Fuzzbucket lived happily ever after......

Good for you Fuzz! Enjoy the Jeep for how it sits now and only wrench on it when you need to. I wheeled my rig with 33's/35's and 3.73's for almost 3 years now in here in CO on some tough trails and was able to keep up with some well built rigs. You don't need a crazy built rig on 40's to get out there and have fun and go camping with the family!
Can't wait to see the sequel or what your next project may be!

That restraint isn't all that hard once the Jeep does what you expect from it and then some. Happy wheelin Fuzz

I wondered why I hadn't been seeing any updates from you. I guess I missed the whole closing the book on the bucket deal since it was while I was on my trip. Been doing any wheeling or anything with the ole bucket lately?

Well........she's actually on jackstands.......again. I sold the wheels and MTR/Ks that had less than 100 miles on them . I never really wanted to stay with 15" wheels, especially the 10" wide wheels I had so I just wholesaled the wheel/tire package. I have some 17" JK Moabs I'm going to use while I save for Methods. I am staying with the MTRs though.
Oh, and the wife has finally decided on what color she wants on her new JKU...gecko green. She freaking loves the color but i don't know if i can get used to seeing it in my garage everyday. I'll post a pic up when we've got it.
And after much reflection...I can't close the book on the bucket just yet. Got some stuff in the works. I'll be back...

J. If you plan on staying with MTR's scratch the Methods. If you want to PM me sometime I'll give you the scoop.
